The way I see it, we need to push marijuana/hemp as the new cash crop. I am getting sick and tired of seeing our planet being destroyed and used up like a woman in a brothel house in India. It is absolutely horrific. (okay maybe not the best analogy. but you get my point.) I mean this use of corn is absolutely ridiculous. One, it takes so much water to even keep the crop alive. The main use/ and intake of our limited fresh water supply is for agriculture/ irrigation. Now, take marijuana and you do not need that much water to keep that beautiful green love of ours alive. I understand that crop is used for most of our everyday products, thats including toothpaste haha, but I am pretty sure that we can utilize hemp in the same way. I mean it can also replace our use on oil, which is another depleting resource that is non renewable. I understand the United States main infatuation with it because we do carry the most oil reserves. But what bothers me is like the situation going on now over by the Gulf Coast. A massive oil spill that has not even been capped yet. Tons of oil just flowing into the water, im sure completely freaking out the sea life and even those animals that have a symbiotic relationship with the ocean and coastlines. It is all really sad and what makes it even more saddening is that we have this crop that can easily replace or help these non renewable resources. It is just that fight with those in control that are making butt loads of money off these other industries.

ugh. i've had enough.

what do you guys think?:hippy:

Try replacing corn while ADM and the likes beef up their lobby!
