Hey question for you guys with mothers. Will stress funk up my mothers offspring even though I got them back good condition? I have 6 mothers that were attacked by thrips very bad(almost thought I lost them) but now looks good. Will that stress of almost dying have advirse affects on the off-spring?

I don't know if this is of any help, but due to space limitations I tend to keep my genetics going with very small plants. I keep them stunted, root-bound and starved. When I desire to run some clones, I re-pot and let them do their thing for a few weeks. I've never had a problem with a clone taken using this method. Even though the moms get quite stressed while in "storage", they bounce back, seemingly unaffected, and give me healthy, happy clones.
Disclaimer: I do not recommend my method to anyone. :upsidedow

I agree with EC. As long as mom is in good shape when cuttings are taken, you should have no problems with the clones.
