This grow is two months old now, so I'll give a brief recap:
Germed some Blue City Diesel (blueberry x nyc diesel) seeds, as well as some seeds from my last grow which was seeded by a hermie. These hermie seeds are very healthy, 100% germ within 36hrs and growing like crazy, with most showing pistils at this point.
I'm doing this to find a couple nice mother plants. Started them all in solo cups with straight perlite which I rinsed before planting to get the dust out. I'm using Botanicare nutes mid-size veg stage (1tbsp/gal) with 1-2 drops/gal superthrive. They get watered about every 3 days and are housed in a mini grow-cab under (4) 2' t5s (pioneer IV Jr).
Once they outgrew the cups I put them into larger containers that I made from recycled bottles etc. and wrapped them with duct tape to keep the light out. They were starting to get root bound but not too bad. (see pic).

I"ve culled 3-4 so far. Basically, I removed the weak ones as I don't want their genetics as a mother. The last 2 pics were taken today so that's where we stand. As you can see, it's getting a bit crowded in there. I topped them all a month ago and have since been bending tops like crazy
I've taken cuttings from each, and 11 of 12 rooted and are now in the main room under a Procyon 100 LED and 4 26w cfls. Once they're all sexed, I'll remove the males, save the best females and put the rest outdoors. I'll also be taking more cuttings soon to be put outdoors.
I think I will sex them very soon and then re-veg them. I've never re-veged before, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Sexed the moms. Only 1 male(BCD) out of 8. Not a bad ratio. I'm wondering if these seeds were feminized since they were born from a hermie pollinating a female. Or maybe it's just luck. So I sexed them after about 5 days of 12/12 then went back to 18/6 on the 7th day. They are all showing lots of pistils which kinda scares me because 5 of the 7 are going outside and I want them to be back into full veg before I do that in the coming weeks. Took some clones also to be put outside.
I've also got some clones in the grow closet that are taking off. Pic 1 and pic 2 were only taken 2 weeks apart! The other pics are right after bending the tops. The 2 small plants in the front row are BCD (a little slow to grow after transplant into net pots) and the rest are the ? strain. Need to give it a name cuz I plan on keeping it for a while. Grows like mad in this set-up. Can't wait to see what it does outside. peace yall

Hey! Super hot. 80 in the house, 92+ in the closet. So I turned the exhaust on full time from 15/15, ran the air pump from outside the closet, and turned the cfls off. That took it back down into the 80's. They'll be just fine; in fact I think they liked it. pics 1/2 taken a week from last post. pics 3/4 taken just after bending the tops today. I also have been trimming off the lowest growth.

We're onto 12/12 folks! It was getting to be a jungle in there. I had to remove 2 plants, one BCD and one of the others. Now the rest can spread out and be happy, but it'll still be a bit crowded. Put the two removed ones outside. Switched to the 2700k cfls and bloom nutes of course. 1st pic is before removing the two. The rest were taken after the screen was installed. Sorry for the LED ridden pics, I'll take more white light pics during bloom. peace

So, I should call this thread: the Hempymother to tha LED to tha Hempymother/Outdoor. It's all mixed up but they're all related so I'm just gonna keep it all in one place.
Started hardening off the mother rejects to be put outside. 3hrs today, a little longer tomorrow, and so on and do forth. I can't wait for them to blow-up! Already 3 months old, I expect trees. They'll be in either 10gal pots, or even bigger holes. They'll be LST'd or chickenwired and fed with an organic mix of: PeruvianSeabirdGuano,Greensand,DolomiteLime, Epsom salts, and compost all mixed into a roughly 3:1 peat:perlite combo. Watered with compost tea until bloom then I'm not sure what I'll use. I usually use Jamaican or Indonesian bat guano, which first has to soak for a day or two, but this time I may switch to Neptune's because it's easier to mix and to try something new.
Pic3-Hempymother rejects to be put outdoors.
Pic4-The two I removed from the closet. BCD on the right.

Not too much happening. Did a res change today. 14 days into flower and the pistils are starting to form at the tops. They're still stretching, but I'll stop training them soon and let em' go. I still need to get it dialed in with this strain as far as how long to veg, how long to train on scrog, flower time etc. Upped the nutes this time by one more tsp/gal. It's at 60% now.
Pic 1:You'll see I had to tie a couple down, I can't bend them under because of their position. Hope to see some fatty buds soon!

Most are in 7-10 gal buckets and a few are in holes about 3ft deep/wide.

Day 27 of flower: The screen has filled out nicely. They were stretching like crazy for a couple weeks there but seem to have slowed down now. In the pics, you can see the ones I didn't train in the back. So that's about how much they've grown since the onset of flower.
Almost halfway there?

6 weeks into flower. Chugging along. pH has been dropping like mad for a couple weeks now, I have to up it every day. It's never been this drastic before. Maybe it's because I've never had this many in the system at one time, and they're just feeding like mad thus raising the ppm and making the H20 more acidic? I've had to top it off with 5gal every 10 days or so, whereas before I could make it to each res change (every2wks) with no topping off. Anyway, they look great and handled the recent heatwave no problem. Temps in the closet got to 90 F at one point, no sweat.
Outdoor pics coming soon! They're getting huge!

They're on all the time. I have 4 2700k 23w for bloom and 5500k for veg.

the ph dropping may be some roots rotting, I had that problem in my second hydro setup. try adding a little bit of hydrogen peroxide.

Hey. Started the plain water flush this week. 2-3 weeks to go!!

Chopped the hydro babes! Had some hermie action though:mad:. Not too many seeds, I can pick em out. Should be a good yield though. I'm hoping to stabilize this strain and am down to one mother plant. I'm gonna run the strain one more time, and if it hermies it's dunzo. There's cuttings under the dome as we speak.

So, I trashed the cuttings. Decided to move to a different strain, Blue Haze and some bagseed. Sprouting as we speak. I just don't trust the other strain anymore because of its hermie tendencies. Wierd though not one of them hermied outdoors; yet it did each time in the closet. Stay tuned for outdoor pics.(BCD and bagseed sativa) Looking really nice!
pics: got just over 3oz of this in a 3x3 closet under a Procyon100 LED with 4 26w 2600k cfls.
