I was listening to this internet radio show and they had this guy from NORML and he said that across the board that New Mexico's program is by and large the best.He mentioned how the state had a hold of distribution and that it was welcoming all Drs. in or out of state to take part in the patients care and well being and more permits are forth coming for dispensories and patients. He also said that the state was working with communities so there would not be any banning of dispensories in the future as a ballot referendum.Isn't this great news maybe Vigil is just making sure that there will be no legal issues in the future like other states have had including California and Oregon.

Thanks Washed out!
I will take a gander at this here in the next couple of days. While NM has its issues with the Medical Cannabis Program, number of producers available at this time, I do believe that there are folks that are genuinely trying to make this a viable program.
Some will have issue with that statement and so be it. However, if you look at HB1284 in Colorado.....there are issues there that I am glad WE don't have to deal with in NM right now.
I would ask all of the folks concerned with this issue, medical cannabis in NM, take a peek at what is happening in Colorado and learn from what is going on there.
We have a UNIQUE opportunity here in our state. Contrary to popular belief, there are folks that are keeping patients in mind here.....at least I think so. Some of the things happening in CO are simply ridiculous IMO. I would hate to have that same situation happen here in NM.
Again, thanks for the link Washed out.......best of luck in your plans to relocate here!

Sandia I agree w/ you. I really think that there are people who genuinely want to help people in the program.
I will not buy street anymore so I really hope we are right!
I used to blame myself for the way I am but I don't anymore. I have some control yes but once that twig snaps it's bloody on. I know what works for me and I have met some really nice people recently, especially on here, friends.
Hopefully we all can have a great weekend and not be blown all the way to Louisiana!
Oh yeah, thanks Wash for the post and link.

"Blown" is correct chance!
We had a 69 knot gust here at the house that destroyed a glass top table...RATZ!
I won't be able to make the march as I have a wedding to go to, however, I encourage everyone to go. If for anything, to show support!
The 420 rally was a disappointment in my mind and what I discerned from that event was that there is little or NO organization here in the state when it comes to this subject. Just my opinion from my impressions attending that event.

I live in Rio Rancho, would love to meet for coffee or whatever if anyone's interested.

I am a former card holder from california. It has a better program. plus it was easier and geared for us the patient! Ive had my card for Nm over a month and cant find one place on list provided by nmdoh to supply me my medication. This state sucks so far. I'm not being over the top either: for example, happened this week I finally got in touch with a place they took my order oh! After I had to spend more money to register with them took my order all my personal info credit card info charged me then never delivered and charged me extra for delivery. Is this right? Wait there is more I'm confined to a wheelchair and have ptsd from Two wars this company didn't call me to explain and I'm still waiting for my money to be reimburse. And u say new Mexico is the best no way! Now if u can help fix my issues maybe I will agree so If u can help contact me.

i wish there was enough to go around... been a patient since 4/20 and all my meds still come from the street. the producers are no help to me. sadly i have yet to even see the medical grade stuff they provide, im still smoking last years outdoor from cali... and the occasional local indoor when i can find it.
