Hey, just received my Big Buddha seeds from WWS but unfortunately I won't be able to start growing until a few months. If I keep them in the dark, still sealed in the plastic baggy, they will still be good in a few months correct?

Howdy Green,

Yup...they should be just fine..hopefully..you're talkin about a cool, dark place..some folks put em in the fridge..I don't,in fact..I just successfully got some 5 year old seeds to germ,a couple weeks ago.

Are ya going to have to build your growroom from scratch ? Or are ya going to grow em outside ?

Have a good one ! :D

cool and dark...i store mine in the fridge mostly to keep track of em but have stored in pill bottles in desk drawers and the like and they last for years. currently growing a crop of original c99 seeds that are over 5 years old and had 9/10 germ with 7 females...! that is unusual so don't count of extra f's from stored seeds...just saying if kept dry, cool and dark they should last many years...another example of good storage is gypsy's sk#1 freebies he used to send with every order. they're years old yet still have good germ rates.

but i can NOT recommend freezing them...

Ok good, it shouldn't be a problem then, they are inside an airtight plastic baggy that's never been unsealed, which is in a sealed tin can, which is inside my dark drawer. :D Torog, I'm actually planning on starting a grow room from scratch when I move into a house and out of these dreaded dorms next schoolyear. The group of guys living there right now are actually growing a couple plants with plenty of space leftover in the closet. Thanks for the help.
