Is anyone use this fan? Price is right and promises quiet. Variable speed controller is interesting. I'm looking at the 6" inline model. Most of the Panasonic fans are not inline but this one is. Any fanboys care to comment... sorry, I couldn't resist. ;)
In the interest of not posting links to 3rd party vendors as per the board rules I'm giving you this google search output.

No comments eh? Fine, I'm going to go with this fan. I'll report back to this thread once it is up and running. It is going to be a stoter. I can feel it.

Did not look at them... how many CFM's on a 6 ? I went the e-bay route and after awhile decided to go with a Tjernlund M-8. They claim to be quiet and produce good circulation for a good price. I'm giving $150.00 for 675 cfm's and it also came with a speed control which sounds nice.
Let me know how your fan turns out for ya

I haven't purchased yet. The 6" gives me 340 CFM which is more than enough for my needs. I'll dial it down to about 240 CFM with a controller - not included. I have to wire in a power cord. Cost is USD $156. I'm concerned with the noise and I'm hoping this fan will be pretty quiet.
Do you have a link to yours? I'd be interested to see. Have a look at the Panasonic here: Panasonic 340 CFM WhisperLine Inline Ventillation Fan for 6" Duct (http://www.westsidewholesale.com/air-quality/ventilation/in-line-fans/whisper-line-340-cfm-6-duct-in-line-fan.html)

...but I love their 12v computer fans. Ball bearing, long lasting, and very very quiet, with still-decent airflow.
Had to cool a big graphics card once 'pon a time, and so ganged four of their 80mm (3.14") together in a line, and even tho they together put out over 100cfm (in a small space), you couldn't hear 'em.
They cost me double what a cheapie one would'a tho...
