my first non ghetto grow!!!

i am starting a new grow.

i bought a tent, fan, and everything else i needed.

i am growin short stuffs seeds autoflower MI5 it is suposidly a ak47/purple afgan cross.

i have a 400 wat hps and a 4" vortex fan. i am using ocean forest and perlite in 8 of them and black gold seed starter and perlite in the other 2.

nice setup gl...if i might make a suggestion(idk maybe this is ur plan already) build a small grow box designed for one mother plant. take 2 clones from each plant before flowering. clearly labeling which ones came from which plant. when it becomes clear which plant (or mabye a couple) gave to best results kill all other clones and keep the good one for a mother.
Growing from seed can yield less consistent results. you can make a very small rubbermaid box for seeding but research that in depth, a male can seed plants from great distances and extraordinary precautions should be taken.

Only my opinion and really its just what i screwed up on on my first grow....lost a very awesome pheno type and was never able to duplicate it again with that strain.

ya im doing mi5 autoflower i cant keep buying seeds so i need to seed one of my females. my next grow is going to be regular photoperiod ones. blue widow, white widow, bubba kush, and a white widow/bubble gum cross(still debating that one) still up for sugestions on the last one. i am very tired of all deisels they were flooding here for the last several months. i really like kushes, buble gums, and whites but am interested in suggestions based on my listed likes. maybe a hash, or a haze no skunks. i am looking for a small to med but a big producer of kickass buds.

Worm castings are available at most specialty garden stores and makes an excellent addition to your soil. It is a very gentle fertilizer and in my grows have made a very good addition. Good luck on your grow.

i am having a problem with one of my babies. some of its top leaves are turning a light yellow-green color and all the new growth coming out the center is also that color. whats the problem? any help would be apreciated!?!?

try less nutes, or less often with the nutes and give her some loving and im sure she'll be fine mate:thumbsup::thumbsup:

ok i flushed my sick one with ph 7 water the run off was around 5.5 so im very acidic but it is looking better. i ran 2 gal of water through it and had 1.3 gal waste water. she has perked up. cant wait till tomarrow and see if it helped and the new exposion of growth.

"I know nothing" to quote Manuel but growers seem to put more stock in the ph going in as opposed to the run off coming out. Many say to ignore the runoff measurements.

no i am not using organic ferts was told the in organic ferts kill worms so i will try them next grow(using all organic). but there going great. i think 7 are females so far i have 2 that might be female and 1 not sure.

yea there is always people who talk about how cali is the weed hub of america. I think our Pot up here is right on par with the qaulity of the cali bud, and its cheaper!!

I love hempfest and everything it stands for, but its becoming more or a gathering for druggies and teenagers, than a celebration and festival for the most useful plant on earth. Instead of a peaceful gathering, you have shit head kids getting in fights, stabbing, stealing, and causing a whole bunch of trouble. And that makes all of us responsible marijuana growers and tokers, look very bad.

the strain is short stuffs MI5 they were put in the dirt april 10 so there going to be cut around june 10 depending on there tric's(i cut between 75 and 85% amber) so there only 38 days old. you gotta love auto flowers. i planted 10 and 9 were female. my next grow is going to be a dinafem white widow and a dinafem blue widow.

Yes it is nute burn. I wouldnt flush, its just the plant telling you that you gave her a little too much. Tone down your nutrient mix a tad, and youll be giving them as much nutes as they can take without burning. I prefer to get my tips a little burnt, it means your pushing you plants to their limits.

well there next watering is water, purple max, and gravity. then it is regular ferts with purple max. ill dial down the ferts a bit scince every leaf tip is fert burn. i wonder how much im going to get? im hoping at least 1 1/2 each.

And your using 400 watt thats cool man well good stuff hope my ladies get up there with yours.... My temps with lights on stays around 85-92 degress... Im in veggies stage rite now but before I go into flowering I will need to get some type of cooler air for my ladies....

ok on the 2 they left.(the 2 smallest ones) dried and mancured the smallest one was 14.6 grams and the little bigger was 27.5 grams i figure they got about 8.75 oz from me. it sucks.
