hi. i started germinating my seed i save from a really dank bud that we got. i was so suprised to find a seed in it so i kept it. i germinated the seed untill there where 2 green leaves i used a paper towel if that helps. i then took some dirt and put it in a plastic cup and put a light on it my light seem to be working great after just 1 day the plant stood up and the 2nd set of leaves came out. but my plant really didnt make much progress from there it just got taller and the leaves got a bit bigger but not much. today it has been about 4-6 days ago when i planted it. i checked the dirt to day but it was hard and i dont even thing a weed could grow in it let alone a cannabis plant. so i got a new cup and put so jiffy seed starting soil in it and wet the other soil and lightly pulled the plant out and replanted it in the new soil puting it about an inch father down then it originally was. the root structure looked to be forming great but the was a lil fuz on the bottom of it i dont know what from but i think it ok.let me know if theres any problem with how im doing. but i do not have a set lighting times durring the week i would turn it off at 5:00 and turn it on at around 2:45-3:00 but the weekend came and i just lost track of it all i was going to go back to the week times but i replanted the seedling at 11:00 so im going to keep the light on till 5:00am tommrow and fall back to the weekly times it this ok or is my plant doomed

What kind of light are you using? The plant will grow to the light [stretching] to get what the plant needs in order to grow. So you need to keep your light close, but not so close that your plant burns. Not sure of light, so i cant tell ya how far away. Plus you need a timer and give 18 hours of light and 8 in dark, or you plant will hermy on you.
Some pic's would help:rasta:

Well the seedling is 5'' because its not close enough to the light, its a good thing you re potted it. What happens is the stem grows so long it ends up drying up some place in the stem, which then it cant feed the upper part of the plant and dies. You will need more light soon. I use cfl's, but only cuz i dont have enough cash for an 400w hps light. You might want to read some grow logs and get a timer so you can get the right light to your plant:jointsmile:

You will need to keep your plant at 18/6, 24/0, or it will start to flower. If you look at my indoor grow, you will see how to make cheap lights. They worked for me very well. If ya read it, you will see some of the yield. You might want to get a thermometer to keep your temps in range.
Good luck:rasta:
