HOw do you tell the quality of bud initially, like when it is being presented, to make sure that everything is in line and to your expectations? Also what do Middies, Headies, Beasters, Etc mean?

Stickyness, Crystals (trichomes), bud to stem ratio, and color. Color really doesn't determine the quality, but I'm a big fan of colorful weed rather than the standard green.

First and foremost, make sure it actually looks like weed and not something else. Look at the buds, see if it's nice and crystally. Also look to see if there are any stems or seeds, the less the better, for most cases. Smell is a factor, but I've smoked some nice chron that didn't even have too strong of a scent. If you can hold it, split a nug apart and look at it under a light and make sure that your fingers start sticking to each other cuz you always want the sticky icky shit.

If its being presented to you as a high quality and you question that, then jsut ask your dealer or whoever to smoke some with you. Any time a deal seems sketchy I always ask if they wanna smoke. This is good because they will ussually use there stash or atleast go 50/50 with you.

well the more the green is light, the more th bud has been well dried. and if u brake the stem and u hear crack, that means the guy didnt humidified it so it shouldnt weight more than it should normally do. lots of hairs and compact bud is too significally

Middies are mid-grade weed, which usually sells for 30-35 dollars. Headies are usually reffered to meaning someones head stash, or the nicest buds, and you can expect to pay up to 50 an eigth if its really dank. Beasters, or BC buds, which are my favorite are known for their intense smell and densely packed nuggets, and you these usually cost 40-45 dollars.
