#1. What do you like to smoke when the pain is out-of-control?
#2. What do you like to smoke when you need to get things done?
Thanks to everyone that responds!

My wife suffers from a condition called EDS ... I made another post (http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=15797) about it...
For her pain management is best done with hashish - a good pollen - with this she does not have to take amityptaline...
The majority of skunks also help - but she struggles to maintain "motivation" with them ... lol

Flo is very motivational, even if you don't want it to do anything. DJ Shorts has a good product.

hello med
i have been using cannabis medicly for a long time now, i find most afghanis work well,
i personly developed my own strain to suit my own disabilitys, it is a white widow crossed with a brain damage, this is the best pain killing smoke i have ever used, its not too much of a couch locker if i am sensible with it, i resonatly made some hash with it for the first time, the hash was realy good this helped with my constent pain extreamly well, i hope this helps ......... peace ..........

Not sure what works, but the kind of pain I have is a bit on the strange side I think. I am a double amputee and have a ton of pain in the stumps, hard to think and very hard to sleep. A friend of mine came here from Longview Texas with what he said was medical marijuana they gave him for glucoma (doubtful, because TExas has no such thing) but he gave me a few joints to try. Smoked one and that night I went to bed and slept like a baby. Have no idea of what kind it was. So, I thought that was good so I bought a few ounces off the street. Here in Abilene, you never really know what you are going to get. Someone goes to El Paso, brings back a load and sells it. HE only goes by the quality of the smoke, 70 bucks for pretty good and 100 bucks (an ounce) for damn good. I have used both with the same result. I grew out some of the seeds from a bag of the good stuff one time and it turned out to be the stinkiest foul pole cat (skunk) smeeling stuff I ever had but it was damn good stuff. Well, it worked too. Now I am way in to growing but it seems that whatever strain I grow gets rid of the pain, so in my opinion, it is just about all helpful. Course, I dont mind being locked to the couch either (or my wheel chair) so I like it all.

Howdy davyboy,
Well I'll be daggumed..I got relatives in Longview and Abilene, and I lived in Abilene, back in '94 and '95..I never did develope a local contact in Abilene, instead,I drove back to my hometown of Mineral Wells,to score my smoke. I'm 100% disabled with a double-fusion in my lower spine and have some degenrative arthritis going on,as well. My mom and little sister, just recently graduated from ACU..have you attended there ?
I'm glad that yer finding some relief, for your ailments and I pray that you will continue to find some relief :)
Have a good one ! :D
