hi. i have 4 cuttings. i am using growells advise.
when i got the cuttings a couple had white/yellow patches on them. as they are growing, which today is day 5 there are more yellow/white patches and dots on them.
i am using a 600watt sodium light which i was told by almost evryone i asked that it was fine. i think i may have put the light to close to the cuttings. but now i have highed it. 150cm away from cuttings. i am using canna coco professional soil.
the nutes i am using at the moment is rhizotonic. 10ml per 2 litre of water. trichoderma 1 gram per 2 litre of water. i drop of superthrive per 2 litre of water and canna vega start 10ml per 2 litre of water.
im obviously doing it wrong as i keep being told different things by different people.
im worried about the yellow/white patches.
any advise gratefully recieved. thanks.

The best advice is to fill out the troubleshooting (at the top of the plant problems forum) and copy and paste it here. Without any knowledge about your ph, ppm, water source, temps, etc., its impossible to give any sound advice.

Some pics would help too.

Happy growing

Plant problem forms are here: http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-problems/173775-cancom-copy-n-paste-troubleshooting-forms.html

I gathered your growing in coco, so you copy and paste this one into your response just type in your answers after the questions (answers in bold makes it easier to read). Try and answer as much as you can, more details equals better advice.

also could you be kind enough to look at the very poor pics lol i put on here. when i got the clones the leaf with yellow patches round was like that when i got it has a clone. i have now been told that the mother plant did have a problem at one point and one of the plants crossed contaminated??? this is what im being told. hence my status. "confused"

A few things stick out to me:

1) 15L pots are pretty big for new clones in coco. Plants grown in coco like smaller containers compared to soil.

2) ph is way off. Should be between 5.5 and 6.2 with coco, many prefer in the 5.8-6.2 range.

3) Are your nutrients coco-specific? I'd check out Canna's site: About Coco | CANNA UK (http://www.canna-uk.com/about_coco) and make sure you are following there instructions.

4) Check your nutrient amounts according to Canna's schedule. From the pics it looks over-fertilized, but it could be related to your ph problem or 'contamination'.

I'd put them maybe a little farther away from that 600w, if you have some other lights like fluoros or cfl's, that would be even better, just to nurse them back to health. And find out what 'contamination' it was. Pests? disease?

happy easter to everyone! hope you didnt eat to much chocolates! lol.
anyway i found the cause to my problem.apparantly they had been over fed.and since they was like it when i got them from clones i am assuming that it wasnt me who over fed them. so thats pleased me.
now i have been tol;d that plants love co2? so i did a bit more research on the co2 thing. apparently if you add sugar, yeast and water shake it up etc... put a pipelet into the the cap where you have just drilled a whole this lets off co2. i have been on so many forums and mainly they are all saying the same thing. but in different ways. so i spoke to a friend who used to grow. and he told me that if i did that and put it in the frow room the plants will die????? as long as i have intake and outtake of air there isnt a problem. but if i was to do the co2 thing with the sugar etc... they will die over night? but i have not read that any where? so what do you guys think. plus my humidity has gone down to 22% and temp 77 farah. i have put a jug of water in there and a wet towel. am i going the right way about thngs?
if anyone answers please do no talk with your mouth full. (of easter eggs!) lol

Don't worry, you're not boring or un-interesting. Sometimes it can take a while to get a responce here. It being Easter, people may be going nuts looking for eggs.

I'm sure you'll get some responce.

believe it or not i have a radio in the room. sometimes it heart fm then another. i chop and change the music sometimes i let them listen to my cd#s and yes im sorry.... i read books with them. like they are babies. >bonkers or what<
so if c o2 is good for them and if you read about the mixture further up, why am i being told now by someone who used to grow it before he got busted that i will kill the plants over night????

maybe your friends plants died from to high of co2 level in an enclosed area....but overnight...highly unlikely it was co2...read up and educate your self with books like JORGE CERVANTES MEDICAL MARIJUANA BIBLE and quit listening to friends...do your own thing and learn...searching and reading on this site can help also

CO2 is the last thing you need to worry about as long as you have fresh air exchange... It'll be a waste of time and money in your setup http://boards.cannabis.com/advanced-techniques/183121-co2-enrichment-guide.html

Good to hear you found the problem. Keep us updated

yeah i would not worrie about the co2 just look at all the other ppl's logs on here who grow good fire buds without tha co2 thing if your a new grower i would just keep it as simple as you can untill you atleast grow and harvest a few plants just to get the hang of it:jointsmile::stoned::D

never had an issue with it for the 3 years i've had this grow room....i start by smoking about 1/2 of the joint with my coffee, then go out to the room and burn the rest after all the work is done and usually the lights go off and the exhaust fan kicks on and i burn the rest with them and say good night my sweet girls...then its back inside and rip on the bong for the rest of the day.:smokin:its tough being me!!!:D

Too many variables to give you a number. Some seedlings grow faster than others. Some clones root and grow faster than others, and are cut at different lengths than others. The environment, lighting and what you feed them are also factors. If they are growing, then you have nothing to worry about :)

Hey Finn i dont think anyone could have put it any better:hippy:

New growth means your doing well, so just keep doing what your doing. If your plants were over fed, the plants are just healing and will be fine:thumbsup:

Good luck:rasta:
