Passed Drug test yesterday but failed this morning?

How is it possible that i would pass a drug test with a pretty solid line for THC yesterday and then i take another this morning and i failed it with a very very faint line

because when you were asleep your urine becomes more concentrated because you hold it in till you wake up. When your awake you can go as soon as you need to go. Drink lots of water before a test to make your urine dilute.

I know this sounds stupid, but check again in the instructions how to read the results. The tests I have taken say that any line means the test is THC negative - no matter if it is strong or faint.

If there is any line (even a faint line) you passed the test. Some of those at home tests will only give a very faint line in the case of a negative. I had this exact thing happen and then realized the date on the packaging had expired. This was a year or two ago. I went to Quest the same day and passed with flying colors. Always remember that a negative is a negative.

Even straight water can give a faint line. Immunassay is a very imperfect test which is why if there's a question it gets sent to GC/MS.
And thc levels naturally vary from day to day due to alot of different factors. Thats why its important that even if you test clean its a good idea to atleast do a mild dillution the morning of the UA.
