Hey all, this is my first post though ive been on the site for awhile soaking up all the info. Ive had 2 successful grows but now im stuck. Right before I was gonna start my next cycle i was forced to move out of my house and into a smaller apartment. Im switching to the SOG method cause i dont have as much space to work with. Before i always grew with DWC, about 4 plants and yeilded a decent amount for a beginner. I have a bunch of 4" RW cubes and plugs....this leads me to my question. Can i just use the 4" RW cubes in a tray for SOG? How far apart should I space them, and more importantly how much should i water them? Should i saturate the cubes everyother day? Ive never hand watered anything either so how difficult will it be to handwater 45+ little plants? Ive searched but found nothing> Thanks in advance!

I used to do a SOG grow with 6 inch cubes placed right next to each other. I would veg the plants for 1 week. I watered once a day in an ebb and flow system.
4 inch cubes is a bit small, it can be done. I have flowered a plant in a 3 inch by 4 inch cube before.
It would be best to lay a coco mat or something underneath them.
Hand watering is going to be really hard. They are going to drink so much. I guess it can be done. Don't go on any vacations.
check out my grow in the link in my signature. It is a SOG in 5 inch buckets with rockwool cubes in the buckets. I water once a day.
