faint line advice

I am 51 5'8", 178 lbs and it's been over 120 days since I smoked.. Daily smoker for over 30 years before that but I am still getting a faint line. Here is a photo of my fist void of the day. Later voids look better after I've been drinking water. I drink about 8 glasses of water a day. I have a test coming up soon and am not sure if I'll pass. any advice?

I can see the faint line which means its a pass. You'll be fine with a mild dilution. Start studying the dilution sticky posted at the top of the drug testing forum.

Faint line - 120 days would be an extraordinarily long time for marijuana to be detected in your urine. Something like 30-45 days would be unsurprising considered you smoked daily for 30 years, but 120 days...that just doesn't sound right.

Still, THC is fat soluble, so it builds up in your fat and if you smoke everyday it builds up faster than you can release it. That's why marijuana detection times vary so much. Think of it like caloric intake - if I typically burn per day say 1700 calories, and I'm putting 2400 calories in my body per day, it's going to take longer to burn those calories. I hope that makes sense...

Check the cut-off levels of your drug test. If you are passing it, and the cut-off level of the test is 50 nanograms/ML - that is the cutoff level suggested by the federal government. If you are passing at that level you are probably going to be OK. One warning, I know sometimes parole officers more severe cutoff levels but I don't know if that is something you need to worry about.

A faint line is still a negative and has no bearing upon the amount of THCA thats present in ones urine. Even synthetic urine controls, which are 100% drug free, can produce a faint line in the Test region of an assay.

Thanks for the responses and advice. What gets me is how long it's taking me to get clean... I can't figure that part out. My test this afternoon was more faint than my first void this morning. Can it be these cheap test strips? I dipped one in tap water today and it was faint but not as faint as my tests.

This is not for a parole officer, it's for a pre employment screening for a killer job. If I fail, I'll ruin my chances for ever working for this company again so I want to make sure I do it right. I'm reading the dilution sticky and I don't see anything about mild dilution. Any advice on how much water should I drink and since I'm doing mild dilution, do I need to take aspirin and creatine as well? I surely don't want to over dilute because I think dilution is just as bad as a positive with this company.

The faint line means nothing.. If you can photo copy the results your good to go. Don't worry about the aspirin, its meaningless in today's tests. As for the dilution. Just cut the the water intake in half which would be about 30oz of water(substitute gatorade instead). Void 2-3 times before the test and you'll be fine.
