Dear all - well, here's a mystery...
started some classic skunk #1 from seed recently...running four plants on an NFT set up, regular temperatures of 78F out, 70F in, ph between 5.6-6.1, using a 250 HPS lamp, aqua vega nutes, 4th week vegging...
...my partner accidentally flooded them when they were seedlings and there was, straight off the bat, some stem rot and rusty leaves etc...managed to keep them alive, though...
...that said, the plants look like crap! (my camera's broken, so afraid I can't post pics)...the leaves are pale, though the plants are bushy...yellow leaf tips, what looks like magnesium deficiency on some of the leaves though the plants aren't even 5 weeks old yet...
...strangest of all is that the nutes are just being devoured! i bumped up the EC to 1.1 6 hours ago, and it's already down to .8. I can't figure this out, as for awhile there i thought, by the look of the leaves, that they might be suffering nute burn. the roots look absolutely gorgeous, too, adding to my perplexity. i've changed the water completely every three days....
don't know what to do...am going to give them 2 more weeks vegging then kick them into flower mode as i have space limitations...any constructive input would be most appreciated...
