so we're going to have some sort of legislation passed. here's an article about what's going on today:
Medical Marijuana Debate Lights Up Monday - Politics News Story - KMGH Denver (http://www.thedenverchannel.com/politics/22904621/detail.html)

what about home rule cities like Denver, Boulder, Lafayette, Longmont? (Ned?)

will this law even reach these towns?

If it gets passed in Denver, im sure it wont be long before other cities follow suit. Its exactly what happend in California. Politicians love when someone else dives in the pool, that way they can make their rulings without ever having to get their feet wet...

There seems to be a bit of incorrect information in this article about the amendments. I was there and sat through the whole hearing. We have several legislators on our side. But I oppose the bill as is now because it still sells out the small growers that we depend on to have the variety of strains we offer. And will force us to setup big warehouse (commercial ) grows to which we are opposed. There is a reason they call them commercial grows, they put out commercial Meds. Just like small vineyards produce the finest wines, I think the same is true of MMJ. It will also just make many of my friends loose sleep at night worrying about the door getting kicked down. Do they think all these folks that have made these investments are just going to throw in the towel? This will bring back the black market on steroids.
I think we are good in Ned because the town as a whole supports the movement. Our State Rep. is Claire Levy and I can guarantee she has heard our concerns.

Great point! I couldn't agree with you more. I think a lot people don't understand this. I've heard talk of high-tech grows and large-scale operations as a good thing. How about just a little bit more attention from a loving hand?

Man, that is so true! I knew it would come back but I didn't even consider that it would come back many times stronger!
