i just baught this huge, 12 gram dried mushroom for 90 dollars. what do you guys think of it, good deal? im also putting in a picture of my ak47 i got right now. but tell me what you think of that mushroom. peace.

that shroom is a monster, some kid ate a gram, and this was an experienced shroom head, and he talked sonsense for a few hours, tripping out. my dealer warned me to not go over 2 grams at a time because its just so damn potent, so me and some friends are gonna divide it between 4 people, we each get 3 grams :) .

i sure hope so, now that i think about it though, it does look like an amanita mushroom, with its bright red cap and little spots. it looks like the mushroom from alice in wonderland.

yea,psycilobyn shrooms are tiny.Thats what i was thinking too,amanitas,that is.But if it is,you should eat more then 2 g's.i honestly would never eat a shrooms that looked like that from someone i didn't fully trust.I doubt it is psycilobyn.I'd be pissed.$90 down the drain.

wow, 12 grams for 90$? u pay your shit pretty expensive. i pay like 50 buck for 12 grams of shrooms. and man, normal shrooms are supposed to be tiny, so i just wouldnt eat those, who knows, maybe he or his pusher could just have picked em in the forest. well, thats my opinion but i just wouldnt eat em and just get my money back. plus, 3 grams of that shit is alot, and if the guy said 2 grams max, well watchout. anyway, just be careful

That's a beautiful shroom there. Naysayers be damned, I don't know how some people get such cheap prices on mushrooms in different parts of the world, but for me, 12 grams would have been a great deal more than $90.

yeah dude you can take the fly argic but you have to be VERY careful...you gotta prepare it properly n shit otherwise it can be lethal....if i was you i would do it....just make sure you know what your doing before you eat it....go on erowid.com and they are bound to have some infomation on how to prepare it...the effects...etc etc...but its your call

i think what you trip off of is called muscimol.But i'm pretty sure you don't have to prepare them any "special" way before eating them.I know they can kill you,but it would be from an overdose, not because you didn't prepare them right.

That is an Amanita Muscaria. In small amounts, its poisonous effects can be noted to be psychoactive. In large doses, it's just a poison.

ur supposed to dry them at a certain temp to convert a somewhat poisonous substance into the muscimol or whatever its called that makes you trip(in a very different way than shrooms).

I would agree it looks very like Fly Agaric which has been pointed out has very different effects from magic shrooms... be cautious this looks very close to what you have there

Fly agarics are just said to be poisonous, probably to discourage use.

One funny thing is that about half the books on mushrooms say Amanita muscaria is deadly, but R. Gordon Wasson (who wrote "SOMA: Divine Mushroom of Immortality", arguing that the "soma" of the Rig-Veda was Amanita muscaria) claims that there's not a single firsthand account of lethal poisoning by A. muscaria. Supposedly, if properly dried they are okay if you start with NO MORE THAN 1/4-1/2 CUP OF CHOPPED OR SAUTEED MATERIAL. According to Johnathan Ott, "These mushrooms are powerful. The effective dose range may be narrow. If it is exceeded, even by a small amount, a dissociative experience may result, even a comatose state or an inability to function. its wierd, people in my school are tripping off this same batch of shrooms, and they are tripping so hard off of just half an 8th. like one kid ate half an 8th at a party, and he tripped so damn hard. so can this still be an amanita?

The effects are very differant to psilocybin shrooms, but it is still a trip at the end of the day, just differant.

If it is Amanita....
you boil them in water for about 10 minutes
that changers the Ibotenic acid "poison" to muscimol
I tried 15 grams before and got notta
you really need about an ounce for full effects
but once you get the full effect you will leave your body and go into other dimensions
that is after you see your whole life flash before your eyes
from the minute you were born up to the present time EVERYTHING
I have been wanting to order more so I could do that :-)

but yeah an ounce shouldn't cost more than $30

That is not a 'shroom'. That is a fly agaric mushroom. The dose is three large mushrooms. Too, much will kill you. They have to be dried to convert the chemical from one that makes your face flush to one that gives you a lame sleepy crappy high.
$90. That's crazy. It's leagal as a beagle. You can buy them online and get an oz. for like $20. Not worth a shit, though. I don't think they are healthy, but I know you can O. D. On real shrooms you trip and you'd throw all the shrooms up before you O. D.

thats not competely true. ive had .5 gram caps, and ive had 6 gram caps. and thats just the caps without the stems. size doesnt matter when judging what kind of mushroom. ive seen a 30 gram P.cubensis mushroom on erowid, fresh. so you might have a got a good deal.
