So I just bought a box of water soluble Miracle Grow: Miracid Plant food. Its a 30-10-10 npk and it has trace elements of Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum and Zinc. These are all of the elements essential for plant growth. Im using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil, My only question is if this plant food will be sufficient for my plant? or does anyone have any experience with this product? I would love to hear from someone who has used this before and see how it did for them... I have researched but no one really has much to say about it. If not I will just have to trial and error.lol.

Ha- this is what I used to save money on my grow. I bought good organic liquids for flowering nutes, but i did use the cheap Miracid for veg (also used FFOF soil). I applied it every other watering, using a 1/4teaspoon per 1 gallon. I like the NPK rating of it (30-10-10), however, this is only good for vegging. You should go with a well known flowering nute to ensure quality.

My babies all had a dark rich green color to them, and no signs of burning. I'm sure you could up the dosage as you proceed through veg, I just wanted to keep the usage of synthetic fertilizers to a minimum.

Thank you all! I can`t wait to start feeding these little puppies this stuff and watch them grow! The only reason i actually picked this stuff up was because I could not find the fox farm section in the local nursery. I later went back to the store today and found it, and I will be purchasing the tiger bloom for the flowering stage and maybe few others to experiment with, This is my first grow so the everything helps!

You may want to check out BC products recipe for success. I know several people that follow that guide and produce some amazing results.

All you should need is the Tiger Bloom, some Big Bloom, and perhaps some unsulphered molasses. (grocery store) Tiger Bloom has all your micro-nutes, Big Bloom is a catalyst for Tiger bloom, (a 'kicker' if you will...) and the molasses provides calcium, magnesium, iron, and carbs.

Don't waste your money on hype and marketing.
