Where's the best place to shop for a vaporizer?
I'm thinking about getting da buddah.
Does anyone know who has the best prices in Denver?
Thanks y'all.

In Denver I'm not sure, but I know Aran at The High Country has them and he's hella cool. I got my Silver Surfer from Colin at Cherry Creek Health and he used to have Da Buddahs also. Give them a call at their sister location(SNW) as the Cherry Creek store is getting remodeled for the next week or so. Here's a link: SNW over 30 strains. There was one for sale on Craigslist yesterday for $150.00. I don't have any experience with a vaporizer. Not sure if buying a used one is the way to go????
See link below if interested.

If you have a little extra $$$, do yourself a favor and get the extreme q:
Extreme Q Vaporizer by Arizer on Sale (http://www.gotvape.com/store/extreme-vaporizer.php)
The extreme q is less work to use, and gives larger hits of thicker vapor than a self draw whip style like the da buddha. Also comes with several replacement parts for that day when the glass breaks.

I'm def looking for thicker vapor bong style hits. I heard that Da Buddah was the way to go. I'd rather spend less than $200. I would love to get that arizer but it's a little steep.

All those box/whip vapes are pretty much the same. I think the Da Buddha hits similar to box vapes that are much cheaper. You're basically paying for the design. And it's hyped around here because it's a CO product. As long as the box vape has a ceramic heating element then you're all good. I have a vaporwarez and it's pretty similar to the vaporbrothers. You can probablyg get a vaporbros for cheaper at one of the headshops... I know Heads of State has them. You'll get the same hits you get off of Da Buddha!
That Extreme is pretty sweet! I also like the Vriptech Vaporization Heat Wand (VHW). That'll probably give you the milkiest hits, but it's fragile and cumbersome.

Thank you!
I started reading about the Purple Days. It's kind of scary to think about all these vapes being manufactured in China.
You can buy a build it yourself kit from Purple Days.
The already manufactured units are sold out and they shut down the waiting list.
Any opinions on the difference between cheaper box vapes and units manufactured here in the US?
I also like the look of the wand but I'd break it.
I found an extreme on craigslist but I'm a little paranoid to buy that off craigslist.

Wow I didn't know they shut down the Purple Days waiting list! I would've liked one of those but didn't want to wait for months. So, now you have to build it yourself eh? Oh well.
Some of the better box vapes aren't made in China. Vaporwarez vaporcannon wasn't but they don't make it anymore. I didn't think Vaporbrothers was... don't know. Thing I hate about the whip vapes (besides the plastic tube and steel screen) is that it's extremely hard to change the screen in the whips!! I can never get it quite like it was when I first got it. It's basically jammed in there and I struggle to do it half-assed. And for them to work at their optimum you need to change/clean the screen regularly. This becomes a major pain in the ass.
I was pretty set on the VHW until I thought about actually using it and how it would probably break at some point. The Arizer is actually sounding better and better... I wish you could still smoke in shops because I never got to try a Volcano and I'd really like to.

I got onto the cano down at healing house.
It's really nice but I didn't like the high air to vapor ratio.
I felt like I could sit there and suck down 10 balloons without getting all that high.
I also felt like it used a lot of medicine. I may have changed the meds too quickly.
It does look like the vapor bros. is made in the US. I might go with the vapor bros.
I wish I could test drive the extreme. I like the ability to whip and bag it.

I have the Silver Surfer, and I refer to it as a really expensive lighter.
I like the Surfer and the Buddha because you can crank up the heat on them and get those big fat tokes, but they don't taste like ass.
Call BCC up in Boulder. They have the best deals that I've seen. I got a Buddha there last year and think it was only $120. That was before SSV raised their prices..

I had a basic vapor bros a few years back and in all of my travels, and I have tried just about all of them, I liked it the best, and the price was awesome to boot.
And that's a BIG 10-4 about the screens. Unbelievably hard to change at points. We had a long lost friend over once and I don't know what the deal was, but I couldn't get it to go in for nearly 3 hours. HOWEVER, VB now has a ceramic screen glass on glass deal, wehre you can take the two pieces of glass apart and voila! take out your ceramic (which can be cleaned and is better for both taste and health versus metal) piece, and you're off!
I'm going to get one with the whip bubbler so I can draw big, HUGE ice vapor hits. Just gotta save up a bit.
After all I've been through, that's what I'm going with.
Try fuckcombustion.com if you haven't already and let me know what you think.
