On March 30 in Santa fe will be the next meeting for the DOH MM board. Please go and support those of us still fighting to have conditions and diseases approved for MM cards. I have my packet in and being reviewed. I hope to see the DOH putting my diseases and disorders on the list up for discussion. I will be there. Just because you have a card now doesn't mean your fight is over. In my opinion, you have to fight to keep your card and keep NM progressing in the right direction. Be proactive.

Let's get as many of us there as possible.
Most importantly let's all demand that Dr. Vigil be there to witness the patients talking about their conditions and how MMJ helps them.
Call the DOH and leave a message asking Dr.Vigil to attend this meeting.
ILL be there!

Is there any one here, who is going, that can give me a ride there?
I live in Bernalillo and do not have a car. I recon I could take a train there, but it costs $8.00 and I am very strapped for cash.
I haven't a MMJ card now. I have hepatitis C, so I think I have to wait till I am on treatment to apply, I think. That kind of sucks because I'll have to suffer the chemo with no legel remedy till the card comes a month later.
Heck, I don't even know how I am going to pay a doctor for a MMJ recommendation. I've heard it costs an avarage of $200. May as well be $2 million right now.
Any way, if there is any one in the general Albuquerque area that don't mind me tagging along, that would be so cool. :hippy:

Strange how they seem to always have these hearings at the end of the month, when people on SS disability are out of money.
I hope pepurr and someone else advocating for Hep C approval(without being on antiviral treatment) will be able to make it,since they make it basically impossible for me to attend.

I've already written to him and got a response. I told him how PTSD is such a generic diagnosis and there is not 3 axis of evil however 5. I really hope that Bi-polar,etc. is approved this go round. I have my diagnosis and signature for PTSD,an application for the Traumatic Brain Injury fund,NO! I don't want charity and I don't want to end up like Joe Casias of Battle Creek,MI!! He has a brain tumor and sinus cancer for those who haven't heard of him and how he was fired from Wal-Mart for hot urine,he was using legally under state law. My prescriber has tailored my meds to be "as close to Marijuana as possible",under the advice of an MD:wtf:. The truth is the medical community does not for the most part want to recognize or get educated on the whole damn subject.Strength in #'s,damn right,to the tune of a million of us marching on DC,all blazing. The bootleggers blazed Tommy Guns and gave life to people like al capone and forced an end to prohibition,Cannabis does not make you want to shoot people! How the hell can I be legally prescribed amphetamines that would have landed me in prison had I not chose MYSELF to say no and stop taking them??? Meth is schedule 2 and Marijuana is 1 because meth has a legitimate medical purpose.Bullshit!!!

RE: Medical Cannabis Program
Please ask Dr Vigil to approve more Grower\Producers. There are over 1500 registered patients and only 5 growers. There is no medicine available at all and the DOH is 10 Grower\Producers behind.
Dr. Vigil is holding the program back by going too slow.
Thank you,
Larry Love
