All but 1 of the city's current dispensaries operate within 1000 feet or less from a school.
The city is trying to decide how to handle the situation, whether dispensaries will be grandfathered in or forced to move.

so as long as dispensaries are 1000 feet away, the children are safe. is there only one liquor store in the Fort? How about Pharmacies?

I really have a hard time understanding how they can even justify these zoning laws. There hasn't been a single case of a child EVER obtaining medical marijuana through the simple process of walking in and purchasing it. Nobody wants to lose their license or get in trouble for selling to a minor, its just not worth it so it will never happen.

No shit, Bryan. These zoning laws are absolutely stupid. Pretty soon they'll start zoning for home-schooled students.

thats what i said in a thread a few days back.that new bill does say private and day care schools. if they go that route and include home/private schools then i don't see where anyone could stay legal.what a nice little loophole they found huh?

It amazes me the extent to which "they" are willing to go through to fight this.

Chillax. They'll grandfather in the dispensaries already operating, I bet.
