View Full Version : Looking for a reasonable vendor

I'm wondering what the best way to connect with a vendor in CO might be. I know it's a tough one given the need to be discrete. I have a friend who is a caregiver for several people and wants good pricing for her patients. She herself is not yet set up to grow, and, rather than go to a dispensary, she'd prefer to buy closer to wholesale prices. Does anyone have any suggestions? :hippy:

Wow I feel sorry for her patients! Why did she take on patients when she obviously has nothing to offer them?! They must not be aware of some of the deals most caregivers are getting. Has she ever grown before? If she's not set up now that means her earliest harvest is about 4 months away IF she gets set up soon.
Good luck! You probably won't find what you're looking for here. You aren't allowed to advertise on here. You'll only get recommendations for dispensaries.

what area is she in?

She herself medicates for a condition, and, because she works in the medical field she knows some folks with cancer. Some are terminal. A few cant smoke and must eat it. Right now she's buying from a dispensary for them but it's expensive and she's slowly going broke. She's not a pro caregiver; just a good friend. Because her finances are strained she's looking for closer to wholesale pricing on her and her patients' meds. I know she plans to grow her own at some point but like you said, even if she starts today she's four months away from a harvest. Yeah, she figured she wouldn't really get specific info here given the compliance rules of the site, the state, etc., etc., though she's hoping for perhaps a little clue just the same.

Hey I'm sorry for my first post. I assumed she was trying to make money like a lot of people, but it sounds like she's genuinely interested in helping people.
The best thing I can think of for her is to try THC (The High Country) in Rollinsville. They are a dispensary, however they're the cheapest one (and highest quality) that I've come across. If she can make them HER caregiver it'd be even cheaper. I think ounces are $300 and they have deals for their patients occasionally for $1000/QPs. So that's $250 an ounce.
Otherwise, check Craigslist. That's kinda risky, but since she'd be buying and not selling I'd say its less risky.
Hope she can get something figured out! If she can't it might be wise for her patients to assign new caregivers until she can get set-up. That way they'd all save a little bit of money and once she gets going they could reassign her.

Though THC is a good place to get a qp, we see vendors come in everyday selling qp's under $1000 and at good quality. Go through and independent source, in my opinion.

Hey DB, what do you typically see vendors selling QPs for? I was just wondering what one could expect on that end...

Shit, you see them on CraigsList for $850 sometimes... pretty amazing deals now and then. The quality is all over the place obviously, but I've found some great meds via patient-to-patient CL sales... worth a look and many of them are regular caregivers and could be a long-term solution for you.

Thanks! That is a really good deal. If it was high quality it would be an AMAZING deal.
What do dispensaries typically pay out for QPs of "grade A"?
Any dispensary owners feel free to chime on how you compensate vendors.... (at least under the current regulatory system... or lack thereof)!

Tell her to come see us @ CCF. I can wholesale her prices probably lower than most can. 200-250 /oz. All indoor. All organic. -Bryan:jointsmile:

Lampost, I typically see fire coming into the shop at $900 to $1100 from vendors. B's are typically around $750 to $800. I've had guys come in ready to unload at as low as $2k a lb. Its just all over the place and the quality varies so much.
For a quick and painless transaction, I'd take Bryan up on his offer. They got the goods and it would save you from trolling Craiglist.

I rarely see anyone who realistically wants more than $1000 for a qp anymore. Caregivers just keep undercutting each other. There is consistent quality at $900 now, where just four months ago that really wasn't the case.
