I am about two weeks into the flowering stage of an unknown strain. I grow in a deep water hydroponics kit, and the stems on the fan leaves have turned to a deep purple color. Some of the fan leaves have turned yellowish and seem to be drying out. The buds however seem to be unaffected, along with the stems they are on. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Lets see pictures to confirm...But, from what you are describing...the plant is nearing the end of its flower cycle. The fan leaves yellow (sometimes purple and sometimes both)...and when you got cloudy trichs (and amber ones about 50/50....TIME FOR HARVEST!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

what nutrient deficiency is being displayed here ?

Just a wild ass guess, but last time I saw that it was caused by an overabundance of CalMag.
Too much of one element can lock out other elements.

Please fill out the troubleshooting "sticky" and a real expert will be along to help you soon.
