Hey I'm still kinda a noob at this but this is my second time growing. I'm currently growing 10 clones that i cloned myself. I had to keep the plants underneath florescent lighting for almost 2 months. Because i was waiting for my 1st harvest to finish flowering. My clones were just a couple inches smaller then the pictures. But ever since i put them in my hydro system under my 1000 hps i noticed that they looked very sad and the leaves started to die.

Flood frequency and duration in LIGHT: Flood every 6 hrs for 30 min

grow pot size: About 1/2 gallon

number of plants: 10

Strain type.....So Gouda & Afgan

Extra air-circulation: Active Air 8" in-line duct fan

Reflector: Xtrasun 8" AC Reflector

Ballast: Xtrasun convertible 1000w

Water is too warm, doesn't hold much O2. try feeding on time just long enough to wet the pellets, off time 2-3 hrs.then start extending the off time..maybe too much light?
personally I don't like HPS for veg.

you didn't mention where the Ph is or the PPMs.

Do you have meters to measure these things,if not STOP now and buy one.

Hey sorry i have the PH around 5.5 to 6.5 or lets say i try to keep it around there.......i have a cheap PH reader but that's all i can afford right now. Check out the PH reader i got in the pic.....as for the ppms i have no meter for that right now......but i used the same amount of Nutrient's as i did on my first harvest...as for the light i didnt have this problem before......but thanks for the info.............

Try on 1 hour after lights come on for 15 minutes off for 3 hours. And the last cycle should be 2 hours before lights off. Make sure the 1000 watter doesn't dry them out. Reservoir should be 65 to 68 max.

my 2ml worth .......
Water temp, yup lower it for more O2.
Shock from floro's to 1000w MH, hell yeah but they will get used to it shortly. prob slowed grow a touch also. What size tubes were the clones under??
Flood times, I'm not going to say how to flood but I'll tell ya I've been doing that has worked for us. Veg flood 5 times during light hours NO flood during night time. Night time is rest time  Flood lasts 15 mins start to finish. Sample times: 5am 9am 1pm 5 pm etc Flower changes to 4 floods still nothing during nite nite  Used in 2 sep E&F systms and now running in Ebb and Grow unit also.

they are drying out, and lower the water temps

I'm having the same problem with some clones I bought, they are wilting and just not doing well under real light. Gotta give them a break and lots of water...

get yourself 100 feet of airline. run it from a cool place in the house like a basement, window, or outside. this will run cool air into your res and it will chill the water, the cooler the more o2 it can hold.

I got my venturi tubes sucking air from outside, and this gives me 5 degrees cooler.
