flowering - problem, help please!

Hey guys, so i'm 4 weeks into flowering. i've been using timers to keep my lights on a 12/12 lighting schedule, using a bit of miracle grow 24-8-16 every 10 days or so. Mostly fluorescent lights.
I've got two females, which were both healthy until a few days ago, the leaves started to curl inwards and the new growth became very dark green. The new growth around the bud is deformed and "droopy'. i've got pictures to show. i think the problem may be too much nitrogen, i suspected overwatering for a couple days but i dont think this is the issue. I heard that flushing them would solve the problem although I thought i'd ask some opinions before i made a decision, I dont want to make it worse. Quick responses would be apreciated! thanks!

My first guess would be root lock. If that is the case you want to flush the plant with pure, PH'd water about three times to get all the salts and garbage out. I would then look for some different nutrients. You may also want to consider some natural sunlight or maybe some LED's.

Throw that miracle grow crap in the trash or you will keep getting the same results.
Flush the plants with twice the water the pot can hold.
A 3 gallon pot gets 6 gallons of water.

MG All Purpose is fine for growth phase, but not suitable for flowering. (the listed recommendation is for a two week period, btw) Look-up the nutrients others are using.
How much is "a bit"? Regardless...too much nitrogen. Likely your ph is off, and she's rootbound, too.

Yes a flush would help, but you'll need some nutrients especially for flowering ladies, and you'll need to keep them on a fairly strict schedule. (Preferably not a rose food product) Botanicare, Canna, Fox Farms...are a few of the cannabis-friendly nutrients. They offer 2 and 3 part nutrients to take you from adolescent to harvest. Most of them have a feeding schedule for their product online. Takes the guesswork out.

I'm currently using 4 fluorescent lights for 2 plants at a distance of about 8 inches. i flushed them out and theyre already looking a lot better. I'm gonna get some nutrients with more phosphorus and less nitrogen.
The pots I am currently using are beginning to seem too small for the size of the plants. (way too small)
would it be too much stress on the plant to transplant it into a bigger pot during flowering?

No just transplant in low or green light. Then you may want to try something like BC Nutrients at 1/2 stregth.

Just watch the branches. Might be a 2 person job to help support the plant. -or- lay out some newspaper, lay the plant on it's side, and slip the plant out carefully, and place it in the pot you've prepared.
