Are there any nfp's in Boulder (or for profit if you can bring your own meds) where one can come in and medicate?
how does it work?

If you find one let us all know. I'd like to find a place to relax and try out different strains. I'd even be willing to trade samples but after the new legislation that might be considered illegal so we better hurry up. :D

Its really a shame that they put this "no-consumption" law into effect, as many of our patients enjoyed sampling a strain before buying it or hanging out in our lounge and relaxing for a few minutes (or hours:D). I dont understand what the city council and chosen representatives want. It seems they would like a better relationship between patient and caregiver, yet every law/regulation they pass, seems to coincide with this "get in - get out" mentality, which I dont really believe is helpful or substantial to a patients mental health. I want people to feel welcomed when they come to see us and not as such that they have to get their medicine and leave immediatly. Medical marijuana has evolved into a social engagement as well and this is very healthy exchange, specially for some of our patients who are house-bound and tend not to get out much. It is nice for them because they can come to a safe and comfortable enviorment and interact with other patients who more than likely share alot of the same views and beliefs. At the same time I also have patients who may not be able to medicate at their place of residence and need a place where they can medicate without fear of reprecussions.
Sorry for the long winded rant, im just really dissapointed in the denver city council and all the ridiculous rules and regulations they would like to see us have to tip toe around to maintain legitimacy.
Have a great day colorado!! -Bryan:jointsmile:

It's too bad they passed that in Denver! CCF would definitely be one of the spots if not for the new law. Christmas day was off the hook ::stoned:
You're right on about the get in and get out, that's lame. I might have seemed in a rush today but I really wanted to try the chem 91 and I had three places to go in Denver. I wrote all the directions down on the same page and planned on making my way there after my appointment at 4. Somehow I read the directions wrong and ended up at CCF first, haha. Luckily I made it to my appointment 2 minutes early thanks to you're bit of directions!
