single-hose portable ac

Is a single-hose portable ac good enought to renew the air of a room with 2X1000 watts seal light. I look a bit around and it suppose to creat a negative pressure in the room.

well, i guess it all depends on how big your grow space is and circulation. But I will say that I have a portable a/c unit that is probably similar to the one you are talking about. My grow space is about 3x5 and I have a 600w hps....I have had major issues keeping the a/c unit at an accurate temp. Maybe its just the model i have, but I am pretty dissapointed with it. I paid $300 for the thing not even a year ago. Somedays it works great, and others the thermostat will read 70, but the temp in the room will be in the 80's....not good. And 2 1000w is alot of heat!

I'm switching to LED's soon to prevent the heat issue! good luck! :jointsmile:

Its a beaumark mpk-10cr 10,000 btu. And the heat is pull out of the seal reflector with 6inch 600cff vortec fan
