All right, it's time to re-up today and I'm at a loss where to go. I was wondering if you guys could help me out? I would like some suggestions as I have been a fair amount of places but I'm leaning towards Pure or CAM? Does Cam or pure have anything sticky? I'm hesitant a little on both. I live in denver and I'm tired of paying 60 for 1/8 so I've boycotted many of my favorite stores for the past two months (highland health was one of my more favorite spots and the herb is always sticky). IT's been hard, really hard, but I Also found a super dope spot off broadway call THC (The Herbal Center (http://thctheherbalcenter.com/)) that sells all their herb for 40$ an 1/8 plus tax (so around 45). It is mostly fire but my only complaint is their weed seems too well dried and even though loaded with crystals, their herb isn't sticky at all :( I've spent over 5 bills the past 2 and half weeks there but I need something a little more potent.
I need that sticky and I only want to pay 50 and eighth- where should I go guys? Help a brotha out looking for some sticky fire because my tolenernce is getting annoyed with me- :stoned: I've given up one of my favorite spots to you guys (be warned they don't have as much as a great set up, but the herb is great) in exchange for some some of your favs... Thanks brotha's and sisters and business owners

Also considering releaf however, I think they charge 60 an 1/8 for top shelf and CCF. Been reading lots and lot of good things about ccf

dry herb is a good thing - you don't want to pay for water weight!
if you like it more moist, put a couple drops of pure water (like from bottled water) and keep the herb in a jar. the next day, the moisture will have evened out and the herb will seem stickier.

You can also put a piece of orange peel in the jar with the bud overnight.

I usually tell people to come see our meds because we have three or four B grades that could go at top shelf for $50 an eighth. If you're looking for something sticky but well cured, we have two skunks (#1 and Lime) that I would recommend off the jump, both B grades. In an A grade, I can show you four or five.
We're looking at April 1st for new pricing, but in the meanwhile I could give you $5 off instead of your free edible today if funds are tight. All of our current strains are on our website (see my sig) and our contact info is as well.
I think no matter what you'll find some good smoke, all the shops on your list are great.

went up to Grateful meds in nederland the other day and only paid 90 1/4 for top shelf...he really takes care of his customers and it's a easy and nice drive...about 45 minutes from thornton...nice way to spend a portion of the day and you don't have to worry about the denver bs and high prices.

Im bringing in alot of top shelf meds on friday. We have some great strains right now (the double sour diesel is REALLY amazing, and if you like sticky herb, you will NOT be dissapointed, the DSD is by far some of the most resinous stick to the wall herb ive done in a while), but if you really want that jaw-on-the-floor effect, check us out friday or sometime on the weekend, well have alot of nice new sticky herbs ready by then.
Ive heard great things about all the places mentioned, ive also heard D9 may have some of that bruce banner in. If your going to be around broadway checking shops, they are one I would also reccomend adding to your list.
Take care and I hope you find what you are looking for. -Bryan:jointsmile:

I like the cough at Pure.
Dragonfly on Fed and 23rd has fire for $48.
I refuse to pay over $50.

Go to the mountains. The shop in Denver that is most consistent IMO is CCF. I've never been disappointed there. They even let me bring some Nugs back in and exchange them one time when I found a bunch of under-developed seeds!
It also seems like they are very picky when selecting vendor strains to carry.

Celery works well if you want the moisture but not the aroma, too.

Thanks everyone for the Input! Well I ended up giving CAM a shot today- Got some "Maui", Juliet and Ingrid. The maui was discounted @ 45 an eighth but looked amazing. I just toked it and I'm comfortably :stoned:

For sure mayne I hear or rather read you, I however believe there is a fine difference between sticky resiny gewy herb and herb that is just plain and simple not cured all the way but maybe that's just me?

Nice I should hit up ccf- I noticed little seedlings today in the Maui I just got from CAM and I'm slightly aggravated. I am kinda getting tired of vendor weed, but that's just me I guess, I don't know too much about the formality of it but the weed isn't as good as some places I've been with house grown goods. I wish quality could be controlled better because it's ridiculous that I pay top price and there are mistakes in the growing process I wouldn't have made if I had done it myself. Can't mistake good customer service either in this industry I've learned, so CCF is on the going to next list I think, thanks for the insight

I've seen I think the owner?s posts here on the forums, seems like a guy with his head straight and not in it just to make coin. I'm planning a weekend trip soon! I will definitely stop at this place-

Cool, I will try to make it in by friday, I don't know though because I picked up my weeks worth today- Diesel or any headband variant is my favorite strand so I hope to check that out in the very near future. I've boughten about 8 different Sour Diesel's, 1 NYCPD, and 2 Headbands (which I've read might be the original diesel strand?) and I think the best I've had so far was some Super Sour Diesel from Discount Marijuana off Colfax. I had it in a sealed bag from their place additionally packed in a script' jar and everything with in 10' of it reeked. It was sticky, tasty and just mind blowing. The closest thing to the freshmen smoke I've had yet. :stoned:
On a side note, I've "met" a lot of bud tenders and a lot seem uninterested in talking what so ever other than, price, want some and how much. I think to myself ":wtf: your job is weighing out herb and talking about medicine all day- cheer up, get educated about the strands, have fun and talk about it." maybe there's something about the industry I don't know, but I would be chatting with people about their herb all the time if engaged by customers. I regularly try to engage in conversations about herb and most bud-tenders I've found are either to them selves for one reason or another- or just have no Idea whats going on about the herb I'm buying it seems. It could just be my luck? THC off broadway is pretty cool- all the guys chatted me up about the herb every time and appreciated my purchase it seemed. I brought my recycled prescription jars, paid cash and got a phat little discount- I don't get that anywhere else. I'm saving overhead while giving repeat business and they let me know their appreciation which again is great customer service-

My experience leads me to think that there are a lot of quiet budtenders because they're either overmedicating on bomb strains all day or they don't know the strains/how they're grown/how they smoke, so they stay quiet. I keep hearing this from patients that come in to our shop, too, so know that you aren't alone in that experience.

There are some really nice places in denver, I would definitely give cam, ccf, patients choice, altitude wellness, herbal connections my recommendations, oh hell might as well, I work at delta 9 on broadway, and I'm really stoked on what we have going on as well ( end tooting of own horn), so come check us out! Really man there are some nice places around the city, I haven't got a chance to visit all the spots I want to go see but I will with out a doubt give credit where credit is due!!
Big Ups mile high city!!

Dragonfly on Fed and 23rd has fire for $48.
That would be The Grasshopper, and yes, they do have the fire for $48. My favorites there lately are the CO Confidential (Sour Cream x LA Confidential), Sugar Hash Plant (some strain called Sugar 7 x Hashplant), their Durban was one of the best I've tried in town, and their stand-by strains are their Lemonade (DNA Lemon Skunk pheno), Chocolope, and Martian Mean Green. I've reviewed several of their strains. They renovated recently, so I need to stop in and see it -- that was my only knock on them before.
Native's Choice of Colorado also has fire for $48... they're downtown at Larimer and Broadway and I've been very happy with everything I've gotten. I just took some shots of their in-house exclusive strain "Crystal Cavern" (it's listed as 75% Sativa.. I'll get lineage hopefully for the review), and it's pretty ridiculous: Natives Choice of Colorado pictures by MMJInColorado - Photobucket (http://s832.photobucket.com/albums/zz248/MMJInColorado/Natives%20Choice%20of%20Colorado/)..
They give you member prices ($43 inc. tax) if you're a first-time customer, so definitely check them out -- and they do awesome 7-gram sample deals so you can try a bunch of stuff. Everything they have is in-house, which rocks my world since they can answer questions about basically everything and know about it. Plus, they're friendly -- it's appointment only right now though, so call them ahead of time.
Props to Delta 9 as well.. I have a bunch of reviews for them coming soon. I've only been in once, but they cut big stems off and gave member pricing for a first buy. Everything looked top notch and they're capped at $50 + tax.
EDIT: Highland Health breaks my heart too... they have so many nice strains there, but I just can't justify those prices. That was my first "wow" dispensary experience, but it was also one of my early "ack, I'm paying $62-something??" experiences. Tough to justify when there are so many alternatives around with quality for $50 or less.

Well I cant speak for other budtenders, but I usually wake up around 5-6am and work until 8-10pm at night. It can take a toll on you, and being a patient myself sometimes im just not feeling that well. I always try my best to not let it effect a patient's experience, but sometimes you just cant help it.

I agree with not paying more than $50 for an 1/8. There are dozens and dozens of places who cap at $50 an 1/8 with tax, and I will never patron an establishment who charges more. I will go with out medicating. Frankly, shops who charge more are simply not needed with the current number of providers of mmj. If you need to charge more than $50 to stay in business, you are not doing anyone any favors by keeping your doors open.
