View Full Version : BIG BUDS ALMOST DONE FLOWERING......POSSIBLE TURNING MALE!!!!!!!! :(

Can someone please help.....
The best I can describe is that it has been in bloom for six weeks. THey developed buds in three days. I have been feeding it advanced nutrients throughout ahd have been able to see results overnight each time. Now today, I went in the room and for the last two weeks (which is where i am) they tell you to quit using big bud and start using overdrive (to fill in and dense buds). Yesterday was the first day that I fed them with overdrive and today i noticed the plants having just every now and then what looked like a hair and a ball (pointing up) it appears to be either another "bloom" or maybe a seed.
Any suggestions?

P.S.
My blackberry takes terrible pics and they are in dark so I cant go there anyway. I realize pics would be so much easier adn helpful.

fill out the troubleshooting copy and paste form; tell us more about lights, medium, ext...

Sounds like you are describing the calyx. (the teardrop-shaped ball with hairs (pistils) sticking out) The pistil is not actually a 'hair'. It's a tube that will catch pollen and transport it to the embryo which is inside the calyx.

Even a bad picture might help. Sit the Blackberry on a box or something to steady the picture. Turning circulation fans off for the photo can help, too.

Rusty, sorry it is so late....almost 2pm and i was shooting for noon. Thought i would be able to borrow a camera but didn't turn out that way. These are the best I could get. Thanks for the feedback-I REALLY do appreciate it. I have nobody to ask-this is first time and strictly from reading!! Thanks, bro.

Oh, yeah, the first pic the "thing" i am talking about is almost directly dead center of picture...just south of dead center. The other (with string horizontal) is just above the end of the string and to the left about a 1/16". Again, sorry about the quality.

Then it is a calyx (female part) and you have nothing to worry about.

Thank you, man. I appreciate it...that is exactly! what they look like. RT, thank you as well!! Much appreciated guys..if you check my profile the only plants I have ever asked about (only ones ever had) are these same ones! It has been eventful and educating and a blast.
