If you haven't used it yet, pack it up and return it. It's one of those cheap Chinese knock-off vapes that are totally unreliable as well as a very good possibility that it could have toxic materials used in it's construction.
Do a bit of research over at fuckcombustion.com before purchasing another vape.
This is, really, the BEST advice that I can give you.

Top Vapor vapes are generic models made by Wenzhou Yixin in China. The same models are made for other companies and given different names. Wenzhou offers no warranty. Hopefully you got some kind of warranty from the reseller.
The temp on display should only be used for a reference point. Hopefully, it's accurate enough to serve that purpose. As far as showing the actual vaping temp, forget it. Find the vapor range by starting low and see where you start to get some vapor. Find the high end, where the vapor is harsh and your remains are very dark brown/black. Your preferred temp is in between these points, where your remains are light to medium brown.
You should load at least enough to cover the screen. You can load it half full if you like, but keep in mind that you need to stir it up once in a while to get it all exposed to the hot air stream. The more you load, the more you have to stir and you'll be vaping quite a bit of ABV (Already Been Vaped weed). This compromises the taste. Also big loads, that give you big hits, are somewhat wasteful. The bigger the hit you get, the more vapor you'll be exhaling, and that's a waste. You can't take in a big hit, hold it for 2-3 seconds, exhale and get all the effective compounds.
Don't use chunks. Grind it. Grind with your fingers if you have to, but then you lose a lot of good stuff on your fingers. A very few vapes are designed to use pieces instead of ground, but this isn't one.

I just got an Easy Vape. Pretty cheap ($100). And it does the job just fine. I had it at 390 degrees. Is that too high? I mean it works..but i dunno if going lower will save more weed.

Asking what temperature you should run it at will get you a million answers that are all different. What I do is practice. I like different strains at different temperatures. Some times I use the same strain at different temps depending on how the bud was dried and cured. If you are using it to be healthy try to stay away from really high temperatures.
Usually the temp mine is at is somewhere between 340 F and 370 F
someone else might say 200 and someone else 460

As long as your herb isn't actually catching fire, it's not too high. :rasta:
Ok, between vaping and downright smoking, there is a range of temperatures. At a low temperature, you may be getting pure vapor but not all the THC; at higher temperatures, you may be getting all the THC but also a few chemical precursors to combustion and smoke. So you need to experiment and learn by touch, so to speak.
On my vaporizers, I like to get the herb as brown as I can before giving up on it. :D

THC vaporizes in the lower temp range (375 is supposed to get it done), but most people go a little higher. Most also want the other cannabinoids, and most of them can be had at around 400 F.
