I have about 5 doner mothers that I have been using for a year and they have started to give off seeds. Have killed every male that I have ever come accross and have not had one in years so I don't think that is why the seeds are growing. I think maybe stress or age of plant. The plants are also sprouting all over the place up and down the stem. What I want to know is the seeds coming off my female mothers will be all female seeds or can they still produce males from these seeds? I also want to know if there is a confirmed way of telling male to female seeds so I don't harvest a male plant?

Some say they can tell but there is no way to tell female or male seeds because a seed is neither. Sex is determined later by conditions.

Now if you have seen no balls hanging around your mums then you have seen little banana looking things in with the female flower every now and then. They will only make a few seeds and they will be femm.

Let us know if you have naners in the buds.
