Do preflowers appear in a vegetative state or do you have to start a 12/12 cycle ???

If you leave 'em long enough, preflowers will start to show late in the growth (veg) stage.

I just grew my first, two of the three were girls. None showed sex until around seven weeks of veg time. Then only two showed as girls. The third waited another 3 weeks (1.5 weeks into 12/12) to show itself as both Male and female (hermi).

Clones can be easier, in that they are already known to be girls.

I dont have enough space to wait so long , so I guess I have to force flowering when about 8 inch tall

Take a cutting from your plant and flower it, the sex will show.

leave em in te dark for 32hours and they should show when you bring em out or in a couple days after....if you running 24hr light they shouldnt show till you switch to 12/12 they show sex at night so you gotta have atleast 18/6
