I just got a TMP-DNe thermostat controller with day/night settings, photocell is on the unit. when the unit is on there is a green blinking light, thats ok, but it also has an orange light that blinks. I am worried that this will effect the dark cycle. anybody own one of these or something similar? i know this is made for growing so should not matter. I might be able to cover the light with tape. think this would matter? sugestions?
thanks.

I read somewhere that even the smallest light can make a difference in the dark period. One of my fans has a red indicator light, so I just taped over it.

I have a similar problem with my CO2 gen, I just cover the light with tape and paper, don't cover the photocell.
