Hello all,
I've grown a few crops before but all at different homes. Again I find myself in a new home but this time I have well water.
Running tests on my water I have found that it is hard - too much iron.
I'm planning on starting a grow within the next few months and was wondering how I could fight this outside of water softening devices for my home. Though I have not seen what effect it will have on the girls, I know it can be bad and just wanted to nip the problem in the bud.

Thank you very much for the quick reply.
Not only have you solved my problem for growing but also for a system for my garden =)

Seconded RO.

If iron is your only problem, however, you could probably buy some super-power neodymium magnets for cheaper and just use that to pull the iron out faster than an RO system will filter.
