Ok so i have been thinking about trimming my plant. I was thinking of removing all the growth under the colas. But i was thinking i would probable cause shock to the lady and kill her.
As of now she is in some type of Lock and i have been using a new setup for the last week and still she is not moving.

So would if be ok to trim her down and just focus on the colas growing io size.

I should metion that even though the colas have stopped grwoing the rest of the plant is growing. IE buds are forming on all the lower areas.

If you've taken this far, why risk overstressing 'em? Likely the buds are filling-in. Sometimes they seem to take forever, sometimes they grow in spurts...Patience is the key. As long as they are still showing new growth, should be ok.

Feel a cola. (don't crush the buds, just a light touch) Is it still spongy or is it getting more solid every day?

Try lollipoping or cleaning out the smaller growths on the branches first and third week in flower. This will encourage the growth in the top colas minimizing popcorn buds. I generally leave 6-8 nodes per branch except the main stalk. The more even you can keep your canopy the more light efficient your grow becomes. Depending on the strain, I usually bend my tops to encourage the branches to catch up. Bushy results, I'm telln ya.

I guess it would be ok if you have an alternative source for your meds. (a plan "B") But personally, I would never want to lollypop an adult. Perhaps during growth phase when they aren't so finicky, but when you've got a couple of months invested already, failure is costly.

Until a gardener understands the basics, likely they should stick to keeping it simple. If you start stressing the ladies for increased yield, you might just stress them into increased incidence of hermaphrodiism. (or worse)

Did you know that stressing the ladies delays your harvest date a tad, and that there is a tipping-point of unrecoverable damage?
Did you know that if a member screws-up their ladies, they get to start over? (sometimes from scratch)

Just a little something to ponder when tweaking on the ladies.
