according to the SB 420 (i believe...either that or its prop 215) it clearly states (i have a copy just not with me now) that growers and allowed to seek compensation for their costs (ie. electricity bills, grow equipment) and labor (ie. your payday!).

so with that being said as long as you're selling to other cardholders (you must verify they have one when you sell to them) you're in the clear from what i understand the law to mean.
