hi im new and in a perdickament

right, i got some seeds out of a bag of bud, did some research and they've grown :D (i seriously didnt think they would) there about 3 weeks old now and i want to start 12/12 in the next few weeks or so BUT i do not have and cant afford grow lamps, i have been using 2 normal 11w house bulbs http://i.stationeryshopper.co.uk/181878.jpg like so but i have 2 50w halogen bulbs http://www.pondpals.com/pond_lighting/images/bulb.gif .
what do you guys think i should do? the plants looked realy healthy untill last week when i watered them with dodgy water (i didnt know it was dodgy) and there starting to look healthyer again now.

Regular bulbs and halogens will not work - they don't have near the light intensity, light color, or brightness - plus they will give off way too much heat.

Your cheapest route would be to get some cfl lights (small spiral ones). Check out the grow tips on this site to get the info on which cfls you can use successfully.

I use 25W 4 foot CFL's in my box. I have four double four footers but I only use four 25W bulbs for vegging at 18/6. I use all eight sockets and 40W CFL's when budding.

alright thanks, just looked on ebay and there pretty cheap, i'v looked before but couldnt find any ill try and get some asap.
