What are everyone's fears/phobias?

Don't say none because everyone's scared of something.

I have pretty common one's like spiders/insects etc- bees, wasps, ear-wigs, cockroaches and anything that can jump like crickets. The thing I think I'm most scared of is jelly fish, I'm really terrified of those things, I'd never hurt one though or any other creature for that matter. I'm a bit weary of cats, they always seem to look like they're going to pounce on you or something. I don't have a problem with snakes or mice and rats, I like those. I'm not too keen on frogs. And bats, I've never come into contact with one but if a bat came anywhere near me I'd die. I don't know how people who live in places like Australia cope with the things that live amongst them like scorpions and black widow spiders, I'd hate that.

Does anyone have any unusual phobias like something that is non-living and totally harmless? I seen this fella on TV who said he was scared of baked beans and somebody else who said they were scared of buttons, wtf?

P.S- I think jellyfish are beautiful, I could watch them all day but only from the safety of my living room on the TV. They're the main reason I won't swim in the sea any more.

Oh yeah, that's one I missed out. I don't know how I forgot that one it's one of my worst. My legs go funny just from standing at the top of the stairs lol. I remeber once when my dad took me up in a mini crane type thingy called a cherry-picker, it must have only been about 40 feet up but I shit myelf (not literally). My legs went like jelly and the floor looked like it was moving up and down like on cartoons, I was shaking and everything; not a pleasant experience.

I too have a fear of heights, which I am thankful for because it's a pretty rational fear to have. I also get creeped out by spiders and if I ever saw a tarantula I would shit myself.

I'm scared of hammers....for the longest time I couldn't even be in the same room with one if someone was holding it. I don't like being in the same room with one laying out but when someone is holding it, I start to get a little panicy but I don't make a big show or anything. I just quietly left the room, now it is not as bad, if I know the person holding it I don't have to leave. (but if it is a stranger I'm gone)

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and realize, or think, I left the door unlocked and someone is in the house. Maybe the cat knocked something over and woke me up, who knows. If I actually did forget to lock up, I have to search the whole place armed with my old .380 auto before I can comfortably go back to sleep.

My biggest fear is being stuck in a dark hole head first not being able to back yourself out, i'd panic.

example: crawling in a hole about the size of you, and once you get in, you can't back yourself out, that would suck., i'd shit.

I'm scared of heights but I can look down and be fine (the opposite of what most people are actually told) but If I look up I get serious vertigo.

I'm scared of fire , not in dying from it (though that would be excruitatingly painful) but from not being able to stop it , IE: ruining plants but you cant collect insurance since when the investigators come in they'll find your "plants" and equipment. So I double check things like stoves ballasts etc constantly and always like to surround electrical equipment with stone or brick. Or I unplug things like my computer when im gone (so its a bit irrational of a fear as my computer plugs are grounded and thick as hell so its very unlikely that would start a fire.)

I hate crowds as I find them panicky and prone to "mobbing"

And, I dont like flying in airplanes for the express reason A friend of a friend works at Pearson (toronto major airport) and one day he came over to toke, the guy said alot of the mechanics (like him) smoke up right on the tarmac and basically also do it drunk alot, then he reached into his pocket and several bolts were there and he seemed confused and said the words that started my fear "Wonder where those came from"....I asked of course what they were from and he answered "some part on an airplane I imagine" he was dead serious and I thought to myself thats the last time I'll feel comfortable on a plane....It's I suppose a bit irrational as im sure the thousands of other bolts would hold everything together its just that "one critical bolt" I fear ....

I just picked up a new one at work today; fear of getting super glue squirted in my face. It involved a thoughtless fellow employee messing around in my shop and my picking up the handiest 1 oz. bottle of 910 without looking at it first. Damned painful, nearly got my left eye but for my safety glasses. New rules regarding visitors in effect as of Monday.

Harmless? They have a digestive venom that eats away in human bites an area of flesh wich then scabs over leaving a healed section but it is effectively "missing" quite painful though, they are up to 8 inches long too.

I've missed quite a few of my fears off, I was only thinking of the living things I'm scared of. I'd hate to be trapped in a small space like a coffin or something, I wouldn't mind being in a small space if I knew I could easily get out, but if I knew I was stuck I'd die.

I used to have a problem with talking to people or approaching people but I'm OK with that now, but I still couldn't talk infront of lots of people though, I'd start st, stu, stuttering and everything, my face would burn up with embarassment.
Trains are a little scary. I don't mind traveling in them, I just hate the noise they make, they're so loud and make me really jumpy.
I would absolutely hate to get caught masturbating, AAAAAAGH! That would be so bad I'd have to kill myself LOL! (sorry for being vulgar!)
As for injuries, I know a person who got their leg placed up on a stool while they were seated and someone jumped on their knee snapping their leg the wrong way, he was on crutches for about a year. Ever since I heard of this I've never been able to get the thought of it out of my head, imagine what it would feel like. I'd hate to get my fingers snapped back the wrong way at the middle knuckle- ouch! I think this goes for all males (and hermies) but getting my nuts crushed in a vice would have to be the worst pain, my eyes are watering just thinking about it.
The last one I can think of is any power tool with a cutting disc like grinders, stone-cutters or circular saws. I will use them if I have to but I don't like them. Someone I know was using a large grinder and the disc shattered sending shrapnel everywhere, fortunately nobody was hurt but a piece of the disc went right through the side of a caravan.

P.S- NISH850- how come you got attacked so many times? did you get robbed or something or did they just do it for nothing because they're degenerate? I take it you live in a bad neighbourhood?
