Hello all,
First, I want to thank everyone for everything that I have learned on this forum. It has certainly helped me achieve peace of mind during a terribly stressful time. That being said, my mind keeps trying to find reasons for me to be worried. So, here's a brief summary of what has happened.
I recently was offered a job after 9 months of looking for full-time work in my field. Now, after 9 months, you tend to get a little depressed, so I've been toking quite a bit. This offer came out of the blue, really, so I was really excited. Little did I know, however, that this would require a pre-employment screening. So, after studying up on drug testing methods and the like on this site and a couple of others, I decided to use QuickFix 5.7.
On the day of the test, I remember I followed the instructions pretty well. After heating it up, I stuck it between my legs and headed to the testing center. It's been a pretty cold week up here in NYC, so I decided to hail a cab to get to the testing center quickly.
I got to the testing center within 10 minutes. There was only one person there, so I signed my name and waited to be called. After about 15 minutes, I was told to follow her into a lab room. She made me rinse my hands (no soap) and to take off my coat. I was then given a cup and sent into the bathroom. While in the bathroom, I pulled out the QF and poured it into the cup, making sure to urinate into the toilet before and after I started pouring for an authentic sound.
I checked the temperature on the cup. 96 degrees. Good. I handed it back to the tech (who really seemed pretty disinterested) and was dismissed.
Now here's the part in which my mind might be playing anxiety games with me. I cannot quite remember if I ever really shook the bottle. I might have, but I can't quite remember.
So, exactly how important is it to shake QF before use? Wouldn't pouring it into the cup mix the contents up during the transfer? Could the contents have been mixed up well enough when I ran after a cab?
Sorry for the tome. I'm just a bit concerned. Once again, thank you everyone for your help.
