Need a quick opinion!

Hi...okay...will make this quick..heavy smoker...have passed drug tests in the past with no smoking at least 3 days b4 the test and plenty of water and detox tea stoppin the tea, the day b4 the test. On test day, I'll do plenty of water and it goes fine...now...MONDAY EVENING... 2-22-10...got a call that I was to take a test on Wed!! began my yogi detox tea with plenty of water of course...found this site on Tues evening around the time I stopped the tea...kept drinking my water and kept reading the posts...okay...upon reading you guys and ladies...I've realized that I've been doing the dilution method anyway...so, since I was short on time...at around 8pm I began taking aspirin every 4 hrs...taking 4 aspirin at about 12:30 pm...drank plenty of gatorade, in increments...and began my last water bottle mixed with 4 TUMS:o...at about 1PM sippin all the way and after peeing about three times before getting to the clinic. I peed at 1:30, 1:45 give or take and was about to burst!! As for creatine/creatinine...I eat ALOT of red meat...don't judge...lololol...but I did have a burger for dinner on Mon...lil burger, but a burger...
NOW...with all that said...I took the test on Wednesday and it wasn't a simple dip stick...she cupped it and shipped after recording the temp. I have two questions...
1. Does anyone 'think' I was okay? I did not have the money to get a home test...I used to do those..and would've if I had the cash...trust me.
2. How long does it take to get the results? Normally? Do they fax?
ANY help with this would be appreciated!!

You'd better hope that youre okay. Dilution techniques (in any configuration) can backfire if the THCA concentration in the bladder is too high. For most heavy users, its virtually impossible to dilute that concentration without overdiluting, which would raise the red flags at the lab.

As far as turnaround times, it can be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks depending on how backed up the labs are.

Thanks...preciate the response...yep...better 'hope' I'm okay...normally takes about 3 days for me to get clean...but just nervous about the short time to 'flush' before I diluted...will let you know...

The "flushing" you did days before does nothing. Drinking fluids days before the test is of no help. THC is not water soluble, therefore you cannot wash THC out of your body like you can wash dirt from clothes.
THC is stored in the fat cells (in which all humans have) and are released back into the bloodstream as THCA when fat cells are burned for energy. The kidneys filter the THCA from the bloodstream and deposits them into the bladder. Drinking a bunch of water may cause frequent urination, but it has no effect on the rate in which THCA is filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys.
Therefore, drinking fluids is only valid for the day of the U/A. Thats because youre diluting the concentration of THCA thats present in the bladder, in an effort to cause the sample to register below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. This action is only temporary. Once all of the fluids taken in had been all urinated out, the "dirty" donor will resume testing positive for THC.

Hard to believe that a heavy smoker can be clean in 3 days. I'm a heavy smoker, 6'0 tall and 160lbs with a screaming fast metabolism. This morning was the start of my 10th day clean and my home test produced a faint line. At day 7 I had no line at all. During the last 9 days I have regularly taken metamucil and maintained a light workout schedule. I just can't imagine someone passing with only 2 days of sobriety and dilution. Just my :twocents:

Thanks again...oh well...all I can do is wait on the results. It's worked b4, but this time I only had about two days to not smoke b4 the dilution...;( daaammmmittt

Hey...I gotcha...just one thing...it's worked b4, BUT...I had at LEAST 3 days of sobriety...I'm tiny if that makes a diff in metabolism...5ft 120lbs...regular water drinker and herb detox user...not for THC...just for regular 'gunk' out there...lol. but I truuuuly hope it turns out fine...but I do understand your point. ;)

I PASSED!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup: Flight passes just in time for summer!!! :) HOWEVER....I will limit the amount of 'toking' I do...that'll happen naturally I guess considering I have a JOB now...lololol...
