Does anyone else do this?

I've pretty much been forced to do this to my 2 biggest plants. They are at the end of the 2nd week of flowering. My main concern is causing stress that will cause hermies. I'm guessing that it doesn't cause much stress, hence the terminology "low-stress-training".

Man, this Mr Nice is a crazy bush. Its hot base stem as think as quarter to nickel and then branches just shoot out everywhere. They basically go out sideways and then find their way up. I LST'd this beauty and didn't quite keep up with it as I should've so it got out of control. I need to get some pics up. Its insane.

I basically tied two branches on opposite sides of the plant together. So they are both pulling in slightly from the tension of being tied together!

I love this shit! I feel like I'm working with a bonsai tree.

I always tye them when buds get to heavy on the branches. I use the fake bamboo plant sticks from home center and get a bag of chainlink fence tyes, they bend easy around stick and then make a small hook on the other end to hold the branches up. Never had any stress I could see. Or use tomato rings and tyes!
