Got any pics? What strain is it? Or is it just bagseed?
Most likely it's a hybrid. Even Sativa-dominant hybrids will have fatter leaves at first, and then thin out as they grow. 4 bladed leaves is nothing to worry about either.
14-16in. tall in a month, from seed, is pretty good, but you say it's not bushy. What kind of light are you using and how close do you keep it?

What kind of light are you using? If it's a CFL, then 6 in. is too high, and you're probably getting some stretch. Hard to say without pics.
If you want to post pics, upload them to photobucket.com, copy the link, and at the top of the reply box is a picture of a globe with a paperclip. Click that and paste the link there.
You can make your plant more bushy with LST (low stress training). There are several tutorials on it around here (I gave a description of how to do it in the first link in my sig). It will help your yield...

plant looks fine other then it is stretching a bit id say. CFLS dont really get hot so putting it within a few inches of the plant wouldnt hurt it any. As for leaf amounts your plant isnt mature enough. Stages of leaves are usually like this. 1 blade, 3 blades, 5 blades, 7 blades, 9 blades, ive even seen 11. This is all normal.

They look pretty healthy all in all except for the stretching. Like said before, keep your lights closer, as close as you can without burning the leaves (if you're using CFL's or fluoros, you can position them usually an inch away unless they are very high wattage).
Looks like you have some different phenotypes from here, some will finish earlier than others, they will have different highs, etc.. They might all have the same parents, or maybe they all have different dad's, who knows. It's typical to get different phenotypes even with name-brand genetics.
Check out the Indoor Lighting section here in the forums, there are stickies (threads) at the top like "El Cheapo Guide to Lighting" which I think will help you a lot...
Happy growing

Why? Indoor lighting has limitations. It's efficiency decreases exponentially the farther away it is from the plant. Therefore, if you have one main cola (top), it will receive a lot of light, but the lower branches don't receive as much, and won't produce large, dense buds. By tying the plant down, you spread the light more evenly to more of the plant, increasing efficiency and yield.
Some growers also have height limitations, and tying plants down is one way to counter this.
How, When? http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs/103319-lst-low-stress-training.html
It's not a one-time thing... You start with one tie one day, wait a few days, then tie again. Wait again, then tie again, etc., until you are satisfied. After a few ties, the lower growth shoots will become even with the main "top", and even start to be taller. Then you can tie that down as well. The trick is to make the canopy as even as possible, but the plant will always try to chose one growth shoot to be the top, and it will grow the fastest and have the largest bud.
Hope this helps. There's really plenty of info about it, just google LST or low stress training.

Hey,
I just did CFLs and a couple shop lights.
You can buy light bulb sockets for like $2.50 each, and packages of bulbs are around $5 for four bulbs.
I also got two shop lights (two 4 foot T12 bulbs each) for $10 each and then plant/aquarium bulbs for the shop lights, Also $10 each.
This all added up in my case to seven CFLs and four 4' fluorescent bulbs. It cost me a grand total of $100.
To veg them use bulbs that say 6500K
When you flower them use bulbs that say 2300K. However your best to buy a high pressure sodium light for flowering.
Here's some pics of my LST from beginning to yesterday:D, just went into flower on her two weeks ago tonight.
Shameless plug,..--->http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/179056-kinda-wild-trial-grow.html
