Well I am curious to see if and when they get the dispensaries up and running if the DEA will raid them. It would be a stick in the eye of the president if he allows it in his own town.

Change is NOT Change if they only talk about it action is needed. Yet the National Health Institute condoning it is a step int he right direction and legitimization of MM.

I find it amusing someone got a MM card for pain associated with high heels. If it was a male wearing the heels then I think it is a legitimate condition. After all it was California :)
LMAO!!

The legislation is still in committee. It has the support of the majority of council members. Catania says the bill could be passed by May and enacted into law, if it gets through the 30-day waiting period in Congress.

So Congress is voting on something that is illegal under Federal law. Sounds like we need to get the Feds in there and arrest them unless they want to agree it is no longer illegal.

Kind of a double edge sword in my mind. Yet according to the law it does not seem like it can cut both ways and be legal.

Is that one of those double standards?

...So Congress is voting on something that is illegal under Federal law. ...

that is an interesting point. Congress must decide if the will of the DC voters should count or not but, in doing so, would giving the green light to break their own laws. :stoned: ahh, i love politix. :rastasmoke:

but that said, they should allow the DC voters will to stand . . and start planting herbs now in the DC area, the snow might help germinate if its the last one. :greenthumb: :hippy:

Seems like this could be used as a precedence for case law.
