im growing 2 fem ww plants. they r 2 wks old. im using 3 23 watt (100 watts) cfl with 1600 lumens apiece. is this enough light for veg ?:D

You're going to want to at least double that to make the grow worth it.

They WILL grow under that, but you want to shoot for as close to 5,000 lumens per sq. foot of growing space. Obviously some people are limited, so just get as many more cfl's as you can in there.

are you flowering with something different?

im new to this, how many should i use for flowering and what kind. budget is kinda tight fot hps right. so what do u recomend to flower with ?

ive actually added 1 more 26 watt cfl today. so is dat sufficent for veg?

good idea not to spend lots of money on equipment right away. See what you can do with cfl (see what many of our forum folks can do with a few cfls). As the plants mature and it's time to bloom (change to 12 hours light/12hours dark) You'd do well using at least warm white lamps and saving some money for a few 42 watt CFLs)
