President Obama??s campaign was one of the most successful campaigns in history. He raised a record breaking amount of money and was even hailed as a messiah in some circles. He got the nation dreaming of a brighter tomorrow with the words hope and change. Every car had either word plastered on their rear window or bumper. Every celebrity was eager to show their support. Mainstream media put his face everywhere and the youth sang of his praises. Well, of course it was a big success and Obama became the 44th president of the United States.
I voted for him simply for the fact that I think he will go a better job than McCain would have. McCain lost my vote with one quote, ??We could be in Iraq for 100 years.? And one bad decision. SARAH PALIN. Well the fact that Obama has African Ancestry sure helped seal the deal in my eyes being of African decent myself, but I didn??t think he was gonna get the keys to the White House and immediately start saving babies from burning buildings and pave the streets in gold like many seemed to. His job is to pull the nation out of one of our worst recessions ever. Hes taking the field after our previous quarterback threw four interceptions that were each ran back for six. Of course we??re gonna loose the game, we live in reality, but i think we have hope (sorry) in savaging our session. Hes not following Joe Montana. He was not sworn in days after Kennedy was shot. Hes following BUSH. We just had eight years of Ryan Leaf, so be patient people and lets stop the talk how we were lied to. He hasn??t completed his first drive.
I??m sorry to say that although I approve of Obama I don??t think he is brave enough to legalize marijuana any time soon. He is surrounded by many doubters and they will consider themselves right if he even entertains the idea right now. We would have to wait a few more years for the legalization to gain support and that duty falls on our shoulders. The Obama administration has said it will not prosecute medical marijuana patients in states where it is legal. So he have to focus on decriminalization state wide before we moving on to nation wide.

I don't think we will ever see this happen from any president. I don't think it's an issue of bravery so much as it is an issue of not wanting to spend all political capital on a single hot-button issue that is not demonstrably in their favor. I think the only true hope for legalization will come from the local and state level, and pressure will "bubble up" to the federal level.
Obama has taken a brave stance with being frank about past drug use and clear statements that the government should rethink their approach to marijuana, and while the new Justice Dept. policies regarding medical marijuana use are currently largely ineffective and actively ignored at many levels, these are small steps toward "normalization" and raising awareness that many other candidates would have been afraid to take.
I don't think it's reasonable to expect Obama to legalize marijuana, and I think there's much more he could do in that regard, but I do think he's some a little good.

Obama is like all political animals. I don't think much more will be said about cannabis in his first term. He is looking toward re election. In his second term more will be done. I live on Maui and last year (final year of Bush 2 budget) the DEA was flying Green Harvest every month. That stopped in August. Since then we have been chopper free. I think behind the scenes money is quiety being reallocated to other priorities.
In his second term I think more will be done. He will no longer be constrained by re election. Even then cannabis will be decrimanalized and wrapped with the "medical" label thus not legal to the healthy masses. After all is said and done what I think is it will become the lowest priority legaly. UNLESS....
Money. Agricultulturely cannabis is our largest cash crop. Untaxed. States are looking for pennys under the couch. They get their cut from booze, they get their cut from cigs, and they let a big revenue source like weed just walk on by? I don't think that will last long. It may take a decade to happen legalization will come at the state level and like other "vices" will be heavily taxed.

I like Obama more because he didnt have to steal votes like the Kennedy Dynasty did. Obama's definitely not impressing me in some areas, but I do feel more content with my country right now.
people "hate" Obama because they are a bunch of whiney pussies who expected him to do everything for them or because they listen to right wing radio. Most of us think he's doing a pretty decent job given what he inherited. :twocents:

Well, the common misconception is Obama went to Harvard, when the truth is he is a graduate of Hogwarts Academy. With that extensive metaphysical education that damn magical negro should just wave a wand and fix all the problems in the Country, that's why I hate him!
nahh joking, I hate him because he is a Politician :D

Obama lurched to the far left as soon as he took office and tried to get the feds more control of healthcare, the banks, the automotive industry, and the energy sector. Obama has done a lousy job all around since taking office I dont care how ya vote. I bet George Fucking Bush could beat Obama in a straight up national election right now.....and THATS sayin something. These idiots in WASHINGTON had a super majority and STILL couldnt do SHIT. NOTHING. Fumbled on foreign policy with Iran, totally fucked themselves in the healthcare joke, and totally misjudged unemployment and the economy. And how's Chevy doing right now? Who besides people that dont really follow politics or the news daily thinks Obamas done a decent job?? That number is far and few between nowadays.

just people who think for themselves and ignore all the shawn candy ass crap on fox. just because they have their panties in a wad means nothing to me. that is there business.
^ but that said, :rastasmoke:, i understand the buyers remorse of some who voted for him. :) i voted against obama but felt the same way about clinton a few months after voting for him in '92. clinton was reigned in at the first midterm election, too.

The level of rage directed at Obama is bizarre. I like how people say that trying to set up universal healthcare is "socialist", and that the government is incompetent. The government runs one of the most effective and efficient healthcare systems in the country in Medicare, oh and the military's health system, oh and the one for members of congress. The problem with some programs is a lack of funding, which is due to both excessive military spending and a lack of a progressive and fair tax code. Social Security is a great example of this issue, great program, extremely popular, but when you limit funding to the first $97k of someone's income, you will run into problems. So the poor can be taxed on 100% of their income, but a bank executive (like, say, the guys who created this whole recession) only pays soc sec tax on 1/10, or 1/20 of his income? Sounds fair to me.
Obama has faults, but come on. Anyone who knows anything about economics will tell you that going from losing hundreds of thousands of jobs PER WEEK, to 80 thousand PER MONTH in less than a year is a pretty rapid recovery. He does need to take the reigns a bit more and push the Right around, the way Bush did to the Left.
And the fact that there hasn't been a massive terrorist attack resulting in 3000 people being killed, well that makes him a better President than Bush already, doesn't it?

Yes I commend Obama on his MM stance but that is not enough. What Obama is and has been doing has been done before at has never worked.
Here is a video from a KGB agent from about 25 years ago and he mentions they had been doing it for decades before this interview.
"Demoralization of America" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBshLCx2elI&feature=related) and 2nd Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHgYPDvQFU8&feature=related)
The second video hits on brain washing a nation. It is a 9 part video you should watch. If not take the time for those two,. Especially if you are a liberal part two talks about their future.
IMO the only American politicians we have are RON PAUL & NEWT GINGRICH
No great nation has lasted 200 years and we are past that now and on a downward spiral. It will take generations to pay for what he has done in a year.

I am from Arizona yet I do not think McCaine is anything but a political flip flopper. Which ever direction the winds blows is where he goes i.e. Palin is proof she came from a forum of all places. She was pure marketing to the conservative females.
As far as MM and Obama I think that was marketing as well to the youth. If he actually believed what he is preaching or should I say who is not influenced by those who fund him. Do you think dispensaries would still be getting busted?
He is the president if he said you violate my directive again your ass is mine it would no longer be an issue. BP the DEA and the rest of the Feds would back the F**K up.
Regardless if your a Democrat or a Republican be a Libertarian first. Give me liberty or give me death. Obama believes the constitution is a living document to be changed. WTF is that do you realize that the founding fathers set that document in place to protect us from oppression.
Big government is oppression plain and simple. Welfare is a form of oppression to control the masses. Bail outs are a form of oppression it defeats a free market society.
The stimulus to by a new car was a from of oppression. Who benefited the most from the credits? Honda and Toyota not the American Auto workers. In addition most people just signed their names on a contract for payments which is another form of oppression.
We need to wake up before we become a third world country. That will be official when we remove all borders and make every one equal. If I have a dollar and you have 50 cents and we merge you are richer and I am poorer. I then do not want to work for anything more if you get mine. Then we are both poorer.
... Most of us think he's doing a pretty decent job given what he inherited. :twocents:
the one big exception, of course, is all the war casulties under his watch. :( To me the only acceptable number is zero. but I do support the military and their strategy of terrorizing the terrorist with drones.

Many people hate Barry because he is a damn marxist and although George Bush did a great job of sinking the ship, Comrade Obama has only spead this up. Don't pay attention to the media or the news. They are all puppets under the direction of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderburgs as have every president since Roosevelt who has surrounded himself with advisors handpicked from each one of these groups.
This is not some conspiracy theory nut job stuff. This is real and if more people would open their eyes and not by in to all this two party system b.s. you would all see that there is a truly more powerful force behhind the throne. Educate yourself a bit on the economy, what happens when you print and create money from nothing. Obama is just placing the stamp on all the spending that is putting all of our lives and futures at risk.
You had all know matter how deep you get or not into politics start stocking some food and paying off your debts because hyperinflation and the dollar crash is just around the corner.
North American Union, Globalization, hyperinflation, false flag, rfid chips.
^ true, but one question. if one expects hyper inflation to be on the horizon, wouldn't it be better to not pay off your debt and wait until its reletively less of a liability? but, in general, yes, pay off your debts as fast as you can!

Not true. Alarmist propaganda. Have a little faith in America, that "Amero" bullshit is a distraction. Americans will never acquiesce to that. I hate to break it to everyone, but there are far fewer conspiracies than we would all like to believe. The CFR does not rule the world, the descendants of Charlemagne do not constitute a shadow government, and while Dick Cheney is evil, he is not a human/reptile hybrid alien. Alex Jones is a fraud, don't get sucked in under the guise of being a "free-thinker". I know I won't change anyone's mind on this, once they've got you, they've got you. Just remember that everyone has something to gain and something to sell.

Oh, they're all nuts, for real. You have to be a little crazy to want to have all this attention. Mad props to Gore, though. He's about the only one who sacked up and went to Nam. And Kerry? Jumping off that PT boat and shooting that dude who was fitting to take him out with a RPG? BADASS.
Some people believe that reptile shit. I think the guy who puts it out there is called Icke or something.

If hyperinflation is going to happen it is best to borrow now and pay off the debt with inflated money.
Right now we have the fed printing like crazy. At the same time wealth is being destroyed as house and other asset prices fall. Think of it as a tug of war.
RULE 1 of investing is to NEVER FIGHT THE FED. Right now I think the distruction phase is still going on and will be for the next couple of years. Past that point I will guess Japan style deflation for many years. And I hope I'm wrong.
And I do think DICK Chaney is a alien/hybred sent to destroy life as we know it.

true, I do respect for Gore and Kerry for going to Nam. that would have taken some cajone's, for sure. It would really be nice to have a Commander in Chief some time who has actual combat experience.
and I was just kidding about Hillary, too, I actually think she is not doing too bad as sec of state. well . . . , not too bad for one of them, anyways.

Alarmist nothing. Realist alarmist. Americans won't fall for the Amero? Just like the won't fall for the NAFTA correct? Or the millions of freight trucks that cross our borders unchecked heading up to Canada? North American Union? I'm sure that at one time most of the people in the countries that make up the European Union thought that as well. Now......
I don't believe for a second that Dick Cheney is some sort of lizard. I'm not into the esoteric side of things though it was interesting to read that he was the head fo the Council on Foreign Relations (though by his own words:"I didn't speak about that back home"). I don't put much faith in anything Alex Jones says and there is much more out there besides him giving proof that this business exists.
American's won't stand for this? Americans would never vote in a Marxist into office either correct?
Americans as a whole aren't paying attention to shit besides what comes out of the tube or through their earbuds.

You think somebody who supports nationalized health care wants you breathing in smoke and giving you an extra reason to see the doctor? the government will be forced to take interest in individual health, as in what, when and where you eat plus any and every medicine you put in your body. To have pot legalized we need to support the tea party movement and Ron Paul. The only thing stopping the next president; because obama will NOT get reelected, and thats a fact, is private investors losing money. We need to support our state governments, and fight this federal take over. If you support Obama you DO NOT support the legalization of cannabis. THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OBAMA STANDS FOR, IS A CONTRADICTION TO EVERY THING AMERICA WAS FOUNDED ON. give me liberty or give me death. fuck obama.

Right. Unsubscribe so you can't hear the man in his own words. Reading from his book "Dreams of My Father,"

Have you not listened to the man quote Marx on several occasions? Even Chavez warned that Obama was in danger of becoming more socialistic than he.
Wake up and read your damn history books.

yes but all of the french nationalized plans are failing, look at their education system. France was not founded on the same beliefs as the united states was anyway, european countries all rely on the apathy of their citizens, ours depends on their participation. Besides like i said theres noway a government run health care plan would ever support smoking weed or anything in fact. We simply could not afford to. by the way do you know one person who has read the health care plan yet?

i have read it.but that amounts to nill as they change it every other day.they do that to get it so mixed up that no one knows whats going on. but people that think it's a free hand out better read what is in it.it says they "the gov" will be competitive in the ins marketplace.it's not to help people out it's to get a bigger slice of the pie.why take lobbyist money when you can bully your way into the market and just take it over?
also it talks about setting everyone up on a implantable chip device controlled by a registery that keeps all your info and tracks you" for med uses only"yea ok lmao.read about that from page 1001 to 1012 or so.also guns are deemed unhealthy"lead content" so in order to be covered by the plan you can not own anything to do with firearms"btw you have to have the ins they offer or you go to jail and fined"what better way to outlaw guns?oh yea they will be taking 2% of your total income per year or else you go to jail.
but like i said they have changed it so much who knows really what is in it.

He's hated because he is peeling America away from the US Constitution, and he's a Marxist polarizing the nation.
