what will happen now?

My family have been saving seeds for many years. we have like 6 one gallon coffe cans full of seeds. Today i took a gallon of seeds and spreads them all over the place in a well sunlit place with loose soil and access to water . will these seeds sprout? I dont know how many are in a gallon but there is a crap load on the ground know.o the seeds were the freshest .just give your thoughts. thanxs

i'm shure some will sprout. i once, when i was younger, tossed a baggie 1/4th filled with seeds, i'm shure about 1000...give or take, and several weeks later i noticed a pot plant growing out from the weeds. it was a female, but didn't make it to harvest time because i was not careing for it. a gallon jug must have a sh*t load of seeds, so i would bet at least one will sprout, but it would help to cover them with a bit of soil at least.

i steped as many as i could in the ground.threw them in front of me then walk on them.i make 3ft round plots were i put down a bag of poting soil then like 30 seeds then just weed out the weak and males .i know you will get lots of bud .Usally do like 10 of em...
