starting my first grow log. veg room is 3'.5"w x 7'.5"d x 7'.5"h. flower room is the same. veg room is a combo of cfl's and 4ft tubes. currently i have been trying to get some white widow going but have come up with nothing but males. so i dropped 10 more ww's a few weeks ago. hopefully i will get a few ladies out of that bunch. i have 1 bush(im fond of lst:D) i started from a clone i took from the summer outdoor run in the flower room under 1 600w hps. it will be ready to chop in about 2 weeks. by then i can move the ww's to the flower room for sexing. i want at least 1 mother form them. now for the stars of the show; 2 advance seeds critical feminized, 1 ch9 humboldt feminized and 1 sativa seeds blackberry feminized. started germing in paper towels about an hour ago. i will start them out in a vermiculite/ perlite mix for the first week or 2. that will give me time to prepare my soil. i have used mg in the past with good results. however i just found a hydro store a few hours away from me so i plan to make a run by there and see what i can find to give a try. i do plan to use these plants for mothers so i was thinking of using soil for them. after i start the cloning i have a few other ideas i will put in the game. ventilation is not a problem. i have been doing hvac for 17 years so i now about air movement. i dont have to worry about the smell as my closest neighbor is a 1/2 mile away and the set up is close to my animals so any one that comes over will never know. as for co2 i have been doing the home mix method but im not sure it is adequate for the 600w hps so i plan to get a tank set up with timer soon. i have had grate results with foxfarms nutes so i dont see a need for a change there. i try to keep my runoff ph at around 6.5 and havent had any troubles . in fact the only real problems i have had is with grasshoppers and humidity outdoors. them bastards will eat up some buds. and last year we had lots of rain in the fall and i had some fat thick buds that ended up with a lot of rot issues. i just ordered a new battery for my camera so when that gets here i will post some pic's. if anyone has experience with any of these strains feel free to give your input.

humboldt and black berry cracked in about 36 hours. they were placed in a 50/50 perlite/vermiculite mix this morning. just plain tap water ph'ed at 6.5 setting on a shelf with ambient light for now. so far this morning only 1 of the 2 critical has cracked but just starting. i will give it another day or 2 before placing it in the mix. battery for camera will be here in a few days i hope :wtf:
