I'm assuming your are wanting to create "negative pressure" to make sure all of the air is getting scrubbed and non is leaking. This is a good idea, but you want the CFM's of each fan to be fairly close to each other. If you look at the CFM measurement on both fans, the large difference between the 6" and the 10" fans is most likely the source of your problem. Upgrading the 6" to an 8" could solve your problem. How big is the room your are venting? Depending on the answer, this could also be a cause. If CF (length x width x height) of the room is much smaller than the CFM of the 10", then I would advise downgrading the 10" to an 8" instead of upgrading the 6".

might be cheaper to buy a speed control for the fans instead of upgrading or downgrading. then you can adjust. hope it works out for you. fyi i got a speed control for 30 bucks at the hydro store. good luck

Im with jbrand. I use speed controllers all the time for vortex type fans. They work perfectly for this type of application. Install the speed controller on the larger of the two fans and then reduce the larger fans speed to more closely match the smaller fans speed. Other then that, you will need to replace one of the fans so that the cfm's more closely match.
