Not sure if this is the proper forum section for this but i really need your guys opinion.

I have done a lot of google searches on this bump near my ear and i think i have this lymph node bump from smoking weed!!! I even searched "marijuana lymph node"(something like that) and i found one guys comment saying he got an infected lymph node from smoking and it never went away.

so i started to smoke mad amounts of bud over the summer and i noticed a bump near my ear. i thought it was because some pills i was taking for acne but one day i was hitting a 5gram blunt and my right ear started to hurt maybe because of the smoke and wind and loud music. then out of no where my whole lymph node starting hurting, from the bump, down to the rest of the lymph node, near my neck.

i thought i was tripping out becus it felt like parasites crawling around my skin but months later i find out it was my lymph node hurting and circulating some shit. then a few months after that experience my ear hurt agn because i guess some smoke got in my ear, and my ear hurt the whole time i was blazed.

so i only experienced problems with my lymph node two times smoking but this bump remains there since i started smoking excessively. i been clean for a month now and the bastard doesn't seem to shrink.

do u guys think smoking is actually affecting my lymph node?? wow if its true ppl have problems with lymph nodes from smoking it would erase my idea of weed being a godly plant with no negative symptoms lol. would greatly appreciate some comments

Anything you burn and then inhale puts you at risk of infection. It's not the weed, It's the byproduct of the combustion of plant material. It contains noxious gases that can build up in the bloodstream and cause problems. smoking ANYTHING weakens the immune system, putting you at higher risk of all types of infection.

Any way, I had the exact same problem. I had a huge swollen lymph node right under my ear on my neck. Just go get it checked out, they will give you anti-inflammatories and some sort of antibiotic like amoxycillin.

But remember, its not weeds fault, its yours. Buy a vaporizer if you're worried!
