I have looked thru Granny's list and do not find what I am looking for. I really want MEDICAL journals, not docs published by pro- mmj folks. Like the New England Journal of Medicine, etc.
I am a former EMT-P and I speak in jargon. Long story, much shorter in jargon.
I learned last summer that the medicines that are given to lower cholesterol and my body do not like each other. Terrible side effects to the point I am willing to die over taking the medicine. Needless to say, now 6 months later after going off statins, and with exercise and diet, my cholesterol went over 300. Bad news.
Now my heart is way pissed off at me. Have not damaged it yet, but threatening. In discussing with the cardiologist yesterday, there was issue with no printed documentation of MMJ and cardiovascular disease, stress, myocardial load, peripheral vascular effects.
Yes much info is out there, but not by anyone credible enough to satisfy my cardiologist, or myself for that matter. What I find does not appear to be scientific.
Can anyone point me to medical journals that have done studies on angina and infarction with credible numbers, means, etc.
Sorry, NORML is great, but I need an independant research by cardiologists if at all possible.
Our fricking government denies us studies on this crap. I don't believe a word they print either.
Thanks
